Turned 50!!

🥳As we stand on the threshold of 2025, I can't help but reflect on the incredible journey that 2024 has been. My life has been a testament to resilience and growth. I was humbled to be sought after for my ability to overcome life's challenges with perseverance, and I had the honor of being featured on Good Morning Texas—a moment that still feels surreal. Just one year ago, I was writing a chapter in a book, and now, I find myself on television, sharing my story with the world.😍

2024 has been filled with treasured reunions and unforgettable experiences. I reconnected with dear friends from my school days, visited my battle buddy, Dave Toro , and his wife Ruth Toro in Hawaii, where we explored breathtaking hikes—though I admit, my love was DONE long before I was. I journeyed to New Mexico with Oscar A Hoyt (no aliens this time!), and we also had the privilege of visiting Austin, enjoying trails, yoga and the Comedy Mothership. I spent precious time with Solomon Nichols , traveling with his friend to California and marveling at the beauty of Mt. Shasta and Yosemite. And Solomon finally finishes his training.. 🤣. I also savored the simple joys of life with Schon Nichols —celebrating birthdays over mini-golf and cherishing the small moments that truly matter.

Vegas was another highlight, where C S Shimana Sscc and I spent three hours in a gym, pushing ourselves beyond limits. The 3rd annual Run Like A Fool 5k/10k - North Texas was a resounding success. Rock Fitness Coach Joshua Archer is now full time and has the same values as I do.

This year’s Christmas celebration was unlike any other—full of fun, laughter, and an Unplanned candlelit evening at the house after the Great Big Gameshow.

As I reflect on all the beautiful moments that have shaped 2024, I am filled with gratitude. My life has been more incredible than I could have ever imagined, and I feel a deep sense of fulfillment knowing that others can look at my journey, see the trials I've faced, and witness the strength I've found through them. I have come so far, and as this year comes to a close, I can say with certainty: life is truly good. 🥂 Goodbye 2024 hello 2025! 🥳

We did a quick trip to Hawaii a few months ago, Hawaii wasn't a place I was ever thinking of going to but it was definitely fun to see my battle buddy and his wife. This hike was one of our highlights of going. Only a few people have died on this hike, but it wasn't us. 🤪 taken in Hawaii by @marilyn.0910

Self Improvement can literally drag you down. Constantly trying to be the best version of yourself and do all the things. When you should be celebrating all the little wins and small progress you have made. Most importantly respecting yourself. Be proud of you and how far you have come and don't allow self improvement be another reason to beat yourself up. Continue improving and being who you're meant to be!
