POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

AD I i’m still thinking about @emmanancycline’s Switzy, a book that asks you to slow down. quiiiite literally. because you’d want. to. savor. every. line. 🥹 so bleak yet also so witty. my #1 book of the year so far!!

okayy all my july reads are unputdownables !!! swipe for what i think of each book

how have i never read and never watched Normal People up to this point?!?! THIS WAS A MAJOR 5-STAR READ, never the one to like books with yearning characters but this is just miscommunication trope done so weeeell 💯 i’ve got so many things to say about Sally Rooney’s writing BUT IT TRULY JUST GETS ME

initially set my expectations low for this one bc this book was everywhereee but WOW WOW WOW WHAT A BOOK. WHAT A PICK, @lucysbookclub !!!! this book feels so real, so lived in, so vivid. i kept asking myself “is this freaking book about me?!”

and if there’s only one book you’ll pick from this list, let it be this book. but if you’re a victim of the London dating scene, then ⚠️read at your own risk⚠️ bc this book will give you war flashbacks 😂 everyone needs to read this bc i have so many thoughts about that ending ‼️‼️ @faberbooks

idk why i still act shocked when classics blow my mind. like ofc, they’re classics for a reason 😭 but ohmygod MIND-BLOWING WRITING STYLE, MIND-BLOWING PLOT TWISTS. also, such a memeable book. like i was having a blast daily reading everyone’s thoughts on the @fable book club 😂 @viragopress

loveddd this book and loveddd the discussion about this book at @casualreadersbookclub. the club really solidified my appreciation for it !! any book that will call out the patriarchy, I WILL EAT IT UP.

thought-provoking read, tackled very heavy themes but was dealt by the author in a comedic way (its sharp humorrr is exactly my CUP OF TEA)

such a heartwarming read about womanhood!! @cocktailandbookclub’s June pick!!! CHUNKY but the moment i picked it up, i simply CAN’T. PUT. IT. DOWN.

if you can only pick one book to listen to via audiobook this year, let it be this one bc BOI SUCH GOOD NARRATION

i genuinely laughed my way throughout this one, and i’ve never LOLed reading a book in quite a long time 😂 read this for the wit and humor of it all !!!

can’t believe this is my only pic of this book but i was already overdue in returning this to the library !! an unpredictable and entertaining read for suree

major tip if you’re new to the UK, READ THIS BOO by @marionettediaz
