But paying for a €12 for a cappuccino is absolutely ridiculous!

Instead visit Parisi Passage to enjoy a much more relaxing (and cheaper) coffee with just as beautiful architecture.

Imagine staying here for a week with Hollywood’s most famous!

Exploring the gardens. Swimming in the beautiful pools. Playing tennis.

There’s so much history to discover from all over the world in this one place.

There are even wild zebras on the massive property (unfortunately we didn’t spot any when we were there).

I love finding the places that not everyone knows about.

They always have such great stories.

We don’t have to always be in the location to experience what that place offers.

This past weekend I went to the local Greek Fest, and it really made me miss my time in Greece.

What I miss (and remember) the most are the people. I have so many stories that involve some of the kindest humans I’ve ever met.

Making homemade spinach pies to surprise us after a hike, squeezing fresh orange juice just because, gifting me a handmade doilies just from a simple conversation, offering us drinks because it was our first visit. The list goes on!

Being around the culture again and seeing the people come together to celebrate such a vibrant and beautiful community made me truly grateful to have experienced it in their country once before.

The underlying truth though, is that no matter where you are in the world, feeling a community that shares love and their customs with everyone is extremely powerful.

Never forget how much a little openness, kindness, and joy can change the world!

Stop calling it “wanderlust.” ✈️

We travel to understand people, but we often lack the words to understand our own restlessness.

These 6 terms aren’t just aesthetic and a little silly to try to pronounce, they are the “secret” vocabulary for those of us who see travel as more than just a vacation.

As someone who navigates the world with an ADHD brain, I’ve spent my life feeling these things without a name for them.

Whether it’s the pre-trip Resfeber or the craving for Eleutheromania, naming the feeling is the first step to truly experiencing the world, and the people in it.

Did I miss anything?

Social media has a way of making travel look like a highlight reel. Every meal is “the best thing I’ve ever eaten.” Every wrong turn becomes a cute adventure. Every trip looks effortless.

But that’s not how it actually works.

Some destinations won’t click with you. Some days you’ll be exhausted and just need to sit somewhere quiet. Some plans will fall apart and you’ll be better for it.

The trips that changed me most weren’t the ones where everything went right. They were the ones where I stopped performing and started paying attention.

That’s when travel actually does what it’s supposed to do. It helps you understand the world. And yourself.
