What an absolutely incredible year… maybe my favorite one of all time.

I adventured out. I came home. I loved & celebrated and wept & remembered. I spent my time with family & friends, old & new. Most importantly, I reconnected with the most important person in my life.

I have no fear going in 2025. I am stronger, wiser and resilient as ever. But I am also softer, eager and happy to be who I am.

This is your life. Right now, it’s happening, and it’s not waiting for anyone or anything. Go for it. Build the life of your dreams and never give up hope. You are so worth it.

A couple of years ago I started going to festivals with my incredible friends. Through this I’ve found so many NEW joys in life. There is something so incredible about live music but also just feeling the beat in your body. I freaking love EDM now, it makes me move in a way that feels like I have completely been able to let go.
I feel young again. I stay out late, I meet new people, I try new things, I let my guard down, I embrace my body and wear whatever expresses me, I dance for 8 hours straight. I just love it.
Last weekend we went to hangout fest. A very last second decision for me but it’s only an hour away. I’m so glad I went.
It wasn’t your typical festival vibes, more of a spring break crowd than the overwhelming love felt at say…hulaween or Bonnaroo (but I have those this year too).

One huge takeaway is- don’t judge things based on hearsay. I NEVER would have thought I’d enjoy music festivals, I even would cringe at the thought because I had been conditioned to think they were bad, terrible places full of bad things. I was TRAINED without even knowing, to imagine this “reality” of what it would be. Boy was I wrong and am so glad my friends pushed me to try this experience. Right @theericoakley ?!
Thanks for listening to me be excited about yet another hobby of mine. Being a dirty dancing wook, getting DOWN on some EDM and sharing SO MUCH LOVE to strangers. What a life ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
