America’s Sweethearts Season 2 🤍

I was freshly 19 years old when I became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. The 3 years I wore the uniform were truly a whirlwind of emotions. I am forever proud to have been a part of such an iconic organization that brought me true friendship that will last a lifetime and personal growth that forever changed me.

I cannot say enough amazing things about my rookie sisters @jadaboo0203 & @ac_latimer 🤍 These two women are the most amazing human beings that I’m blessed enough to call my friends. Thank you both for your vulnerability, your courage, and your advocacy for these women and yourselves. I love you both so so much.

The 400% pay raise that was announced today was very long overdue, but brought tears to my eyes. I really struggled financially during the time I was a DCC. It made it to where something that brought me joy started to contribute a ton of stress into my life. I’m ecstatic that the women who will wear the uniform in the future won’t have to experience that burden. It’s a huge step in the right direction for not just the Cowboys, but for all professional dancers/cheerleaders in the industry. Thank you to the courageous women who fought to make this possible. In awe of you all.

Dancers are athletes. We put our bodies through so much and devote our lives to our craft. The pay should reflect that.

And to the 2024-2025 squad, you each are so inspiring. Keep being your authentic selves and always know that you and your talents are worth fighting for. 💙 by @marissabgarrison

“Here I stand and here I’ll stay…”
I’ve been keeping my next big adventure to myself for a bit and I’m thrilled to finally let it go! A month ago, I embarked on my Disney journey auditioning and knowing that God’s timing is always the best. Now, I’m a Florida resident and proud to announce that I’ve been offered and accepted a Full Time Entertainment position with Walt Disney World! Those who know me well know that Disney has always held a very special place in my heart and I have manifested this dream since I was a child. A year ago today, I found out I was pregnant with my little girl. 🤍

God truly blessed us with the most incredible gift. We named her “Vienna” after the Billy Joel song about slowing down and appreciating life in the present. She is our constant reminder of that and everything we ever dreamed of.

September 25th will always go down as one of the most transformative and important days of my life. We were so excited, scared, anxious, but joyful.

Happy National Daughter’s Day and 1 year of knowing about our greatest blessing. 💛

4 Months of our precious princess 🩷

BIG month for Miss V! First time on an airplane, first trip to the beach, first trip to NC, and first trip to the dance studio! She got to meet more of her aunties and uncles, went on lots of adventures, and all the while was the sweetest girl. She is also adjusting to daddy AND mommy being back to work, while also having other big girl transitions (her tongue tie procedure recovery, swaddle to sleep sack transition, and beginning to transition to her crib 😭). Watching her grow and showcase her own personality more and more has brought us so so much joy. Cannot wait to see what this month brings! ✨

Vienna’s Favorites

Toys: Her pink and white plush baby cow, her Fisher Price piano, her Ingenuity swing, her fluffy pink mat, and her Disney Princess Little People 👑

Food: Beginning month 5 of exclusively breastfeeding 🍼💛

Musical Artists: La La Land soundtrack, Dolly Parton, The Moana soundtrack, anything Sesame Street, The Wiggles, Julie Andrews, Kenny Loggins, and the music from Singin’ In the Rain ☔️

Favorite Activities include: Playing with her toys in her Bumbo seat, watching her shows (The Wiggles, Sesame Street, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), bath time & her playlist, watching Mommy choreograph, girls nights with her aunties, snuggles with Dada, helping us wedding plan, and going out and about!

Dislikes include: getting out of her bath, getting into her car seat, nap time, the ending of her feedings, and not being held 😂

Nicknames: Punkin (x3), Punkin Patch, Wittle Miss Wittle, Wittle Miss Spittle (my girl has got serious reflux), Little Sweet Girl, Miss Girl, Miss Ma’am, Pretty Girl, Stinky Butt, Stinklemeister, and Gunther 🤏🏻🤏🏻🤏🏻

Milestones: A professional roller, beginning to hold onto toys, trying to sit up (she’s wild), sleeping through the night consistently, sitting up and playing in her bumbo, recognizing and smiling at people, and vocalizing! 🥹 by @marissabgarrison
