The Alchemy of nature... going through the process from spending some of the morning foraging for plant material within a stones throw from Nikki's studio, to making inks and testing the colours produced from the gathering. Thank you @forage_ink for sharing your vast knowledge and passion in such a thoughtful manner. Nature truly heals! #nature #elementsofnature #naturalpaint #livingsimplywell #naturalcolours by @marita_elements

The one-of-a-kind Oxalis Collection in the SU Botanical Gardens displaying the amazing variety and beauty of this little plant. And this was not even hall of what is on display. What struck me apart from the flowers , is the variety of the leaves. Painting 3 in the tree series. As we prepare to go into autumn in the southern hemisphere this reminds of the graphic quality the numerous fruit trees will soon display in the area where I live. Stripped from vitality like the last three years have stripped my emotions to the bone #graphicartist #wintertrees #bareheart #graficarts # by @marita_elements

I have recently started to animate my art in an attempt to convey what I hear and see when I create. The last few months was like a terrible storm... so surreal that it felt like I was watching it through a window. Let's see where this new direction leads to.#nature #wind #animation#elementsofnature #artanimation by @marita_elements

They know your core, your strengths and your weaknesses. They can read a whole conversation in a glance or in a one word WhatsApp. No need for long explanations. They are there to catch you when you fall and to celebrate the wins. The strength of the genetic bond is like no other, it transcends the material world. Sometimes you like them and other times you don't. But underneath it all is the common love that is eternal. #siblings #transcend #transcendence # by @marita_elements
