We’ve teamed up with local Liverpool music label, @ukmodernsky , to bring you a new Book on Dance Club Culture.

The @markmcnulty ‘In Clubland - 35 Summers Of Love’ Book showcases the Liverpool Photographers 35 years of visiting Dance Clubs in the 90s through to Berlin’s Love Parade and even Liverpool’s Eurovision Event.

There will be 2 Limited Edition releases. Both will be Numbered and Signed.

The Hardback will come with an A5 Out-takes Zine of more Dance photography plus there will also be a 10” x 8” Gallery Quality Print.

My book ‘In Clubland: 35 Summers of Love’ launches on presale tonight at 6pm via 80’s Casuals and will be published on November 5th. Hint hint, the supermarkets are already selling mince pies and Christmas chocolates! The book, all 240 pages and 500 plus photographs, covers my work after dark in nightclubs, raves and festivals from the late 80s to the present day and will be available in two super exclusive versions. A softback edition with only 303 numbered copies and a second version of 100 hardback copies that come with an archive print and a 36-page zine of extras! Liverpool-born photographer Mark McNulty has been photographing music scenes and musicians, concerts, and youth culture for over 35 years, and this book is dedicated to his after-dark adventures in clubland. From warehouse parties to superclubs, raves in parks and car parks, techno parades and festivals, the collection of over 500 photographs across 240 pages covers events around the world from the late 1980s, through the UK rave scene in the 1990s, and right up to modern-day festivals, daytime raves, and even Eurovision. House music all life long.

Thank you to the Albert Dock for hosting an exclusive preview of my book ‘In Clubland’, which is currently being projected until October 2nd, every night from 8 till 10. And if you go to the One O’Clock Gun pub this week, you can listen to a curated playlist whilst watching!

It’s been a mad and busy few weeks here, and it’s only going to get busier. Whilst I’ve been working on a soon-to-be-announced book as well as taking part in archive exhibitions at the Albert Dock in Liverpool and a forthcoming one at Tate Britain in London, I’ve also been involved with a brilliant mini festival and exhibition called The Village Green in Dolgarrog in Conwy. My work consists of moody black-and-white landscapes of lost villages, whilst the rest of the show features all kinds of different work, including photography, textiles, video, drawing, and printmaking. The show is at Cog in Dolgarrog (a village between Conwy and Betws-y-Coed), and it opens every day from 12-4, so please come and visit. You can see some of the work here, but here are a few photographs from across a weekend that included launches, walks, and talks, a great pop-up printing shop set up by Andy Abram, and an absolute celebration of village life in a very green village. PS. If you do get to visit us this weekend, there’s a second exhibition happening at StMarys Church and that’s open Sunday 10-4. 💚 taken in Dolgarrog by @markmcnulty

From 8pm–10pm until 2 October, experience Liverpool’s legendary club scene through a special projection on the façade of the Maritime Museum, featuring imagery from Liverpool photographer @markmcnulty ’s upcoming book, In Clubland: 35 Summers of Love.

From Quadrant Park to Cream, Golden and Sankeys, McNulty photographed the shift from rave to the rise of the superclub in the mid 1990s.

BCA has published and presented McNulty’s work through licensing, print and editions, including recent work with Tate Britain.

Curated by Edward Enninful, The 90s: Art and Fashion opens at @tate Britain on 8 October 2026.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more from BCA photographers included in the exhibition.

Lost Highways, North Wales, 2026.

Some new work in the oldest of landscapes. There’s an exhibition opening tonight in Dolgarrog, where we live, in a gallery and shop that we work on called Cog. The exhibition is called The Village Green and whilst we do lots of exhibitions, this one feels very different and one we’re very proud of as it feels like something that’s not only inspired by the Conwy Valley and this part of North Wales, but also shaped by the community itself in all kinds of different ways. So if by chance, you’re in the area tonight, over the weekend, or over the next month or so, please come and see us at Cog, Conwy Road, Dolgarrog, LL32 8JS.
