The response to Sandokan has been genuinely moving. Miss the set and the people who gave it its pulse. Happy to have made new friends in Rome, Berlin and UK. That a story like this is born in Italy and bringing so many diverse people together is remarkable!

I had the privilege of working closely with actors who brought focus, generosity, and real presence into every scene. Stepping into the Bruneian Commander, taking on a new language and learning Bahasa was such an amazing thing to do and committing fully to stand opposite the formidable, talented @canyaman. That level of dedication commands respect, he was in with every cell of his.

Even if my own contribution was only one color within a much larger painting, the sweat was real. Being part of shaping that painting alongside such an extraordinary team was a powerful learning experience.

So happy to have met you @alanahbloor , @_madeleineprice_ , @iamjohnhannah , Owen Teale,
@gilbertogliozzi @samusegreto @markgrosy_officiel @onkoloco , @anjabourdais , @marcushodson , @julesdpchan @nadia.arahman … too many (have to add later)

Behind the camera, an equally remarkable group carried the weight of the work with precision, calm, and humor. The great @janmichelini THANK YOU! though casting was for a different role, how fantastic that I still got to kick ass on set! Truly grateful 🙏🫶 Your professionalism under pressure made creativity possible, guiding with clarity, openness, and heart. Thank you to DOP Riccardo Filippini for crafting a visual language that elevated every moment.
Angelo Poretti and Monica Saracchini for costumes rich in detail and character. I felt my character wearing my boots and jacket. Wanted to take it home with me 🙌

From make-up and hair to production, and logistics, every department showed up fully. That collective commitment is what made this experience unforgettable. To @bpastrovich, Flavia Battista, @andre.fil for planning and responding within seconds … how? To @costanza_x and @ludovico_lelli for making it so easy and comfortable, you guys rock 😘

So many people to thank, it takes a village to produce something of that caliber.
Proud, and already a little nostalgic.

Now it is #SANDOKAN time!
I am more than delighted to be part of this high-end reboot of Sandokan, premiering December 1st on @rai1official + @raiplay_official. (Now on Netflix)

Big shout-out to my wonderful, just exceptionally great manager Roberto, @mediavisionartists — the man who somehow keeps me sane, booked, and on time.

To the great team of @luxvide,
to the casting legends @stefaniavalestro and @armandopizzuticasting,
and to @chiara.iaccarino — grazie for believing in me.

To my self-tape partner and friend Ben, who has now seen more versions of my face on camera than anyone should ever have to. You are awesome!!!

And a very special thank you to the directing dream-team @janmichelini & @nicolaabbatangelo , your vision, kindness, leadership and joyful chaos-management made every day on set feel like the kind of adventure Sandokan himself would approve of. Nothing can happen without the writers, big thank you to @alessandrosermoneta and fellow writers 🧡

I’ve genuinely never been on a set where everything felt so easy, so fun, and so full of heart. To all cast and crew: you made this journey unforgettable. I’m deeply impressed and endlessly grateful.

And of course there wouldn’t be evidence of all of it without the amazing photographer @erikakuenka

December 1st on Rai — and streaming worldwide soon!
Let’s go, pirates, soldiers and tigers apparently 🐅✨

Just a quick heads-up: #sandokan is on tonight and tomorrow on Rai Uno and streaming on RaiPlay.
Episodes five and six, so things really open up there. It gets bigger, rougher, and more adventurous.
If you’ve been watching so far, you’ll know what I mean.
If not, tonight’s a good moment to jump in.
Hope you enjoy the ride.
