Meet Mark Olan, Host of The Asian House @TheActorsHome

Thai-German actor with Indian roots, living in Berlin & Rome.

Projects include “Sandokan” (@sandokanrai & Netflix, Disney+ Italy) , “Schwarzbrot in Thailand” (ARD) , and “Beck is Back” (RTL) among other TV films.

He brings combat skills, depth and humor to his roles and if needed a vibrant cross-cultural spirit to the characters he takes on.

Beyond acting, Mark is the co-founder of CREATRPRO, the creative network behind the renowned Berlin @tvseriesfestival and film projects, uniting storytellers and stories from around the world, always pushing BiPoC stories.

Fluent in English, Italian, and German — with good Thai, he co-hosts THE ASIAN HOUSE with his amazing colleague @anjabourdais , celebrating Asian voices and stories within The Actors Home community.

A Portrait of German Film

Germany is a canvas painted with stories - of resilience, of struggle, of hope.
Through film, art, and storytelling, we want to celebrate a Germany that welcomes every background, every journey, and every dream.

Together, we shape a future that reflects the many faces of Germany.

It was awesome meeting all of you. Had a lot of fun these couple of days. But when your body says you need rest, you should listen to it. So now I must rest and take care of myself. ❤️❤️❤️🫡

Gemeinsam für Vielfalt & Demokratie! 🤝

For those who may not know, we won 1st prize @tvseriesfestival last year with our project ROSES.
We are currently in the process of creating our team and are excited to meet new fresh filmmakers and producers during the Berlinale. So don‘t hesitate to approach @dntomos and me during the Berlin Film Festival. Looking forward!
