My favorite photo of a wedding dress. It was risky to get this, hanging the dress precariously off the top ledge. But the rustic setting, the lighting, the whitewashed stonework, it was just...perfect.

One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is when the bride and maids are getting ready. Such beautiful chaos interspersed by contemplative moments like these... I wonder what was going through her mind. How many times she had seen this day play out in her head and now it's here. I love my job!

Neemrana Fort Palace was built in 1464 in Neemrana, a town in Alwar district of Rajasthan province. The vistas here on a clear day, are unmatched.

As a lover of history, I can't tell you just how excited I was to photograph this wedding in India.

Beautiful settings, beautiful couple. Couldn't ask for a better combination!

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a lover.

I began my commercial photography almost 20 years ago, photographing a wedding. It's safe to say I got hooked :)

Fast forward to present day... I wanted to create a space to share a snippet of the numerous weddings I've covered over the years, so I created @markoneweddings

I haven't posted there in a while, and felt the need to remedy that. I want to continue sharing moments I've captured that celebrate love.

I feel it's fitting that my "comeback" wedding post be of one of my oldest and dearest friends. Tanya ( @teero1982 ) and I have known each other since the 5th grade. When she told me she'd met a good man, I knew she had hit the jackpot. She is one of the most deliberate and smart people I know.

When I first met Boly ( @nigo_phair ), it really didn't take long to confirm that she had indeed hit the jackpot. Not just a genuinely nice guy, but incredibly well attuned to her and just to humanity in general. I am no shrink, but I read energies, and his was...radiantly warm.
What a beautiful merging of cultures. I was so honoured to have been a part of their special day ❤️
