Last year, I had the most turbulent year of my life, and its cost me most of the things acquired over the last decade. As fate would have it, my word for 2025 was ‘flow’. I sure learned it was impossible to fight the current.

So in this season of surrender, it became apparent that my prayers for alignment snatched me right on up. First involuntarily, and now willingly. So here’s to this year’s phrase, Divine Alignment.

Ngl, I’m scaredddd. But I need to see what happens when I’m fearlessly obedient.

Heard a sermon last year that described the role of a husband and the level of sacrificial love that’s required shook me. It got me thinking about the effects of the seemingly small and very personal choices we make, like presentation.

I’ve always been more of an F the system kind of guy, but aging has me questioning if leadership requires compromise to serve your greater purpose. What do you think?

When I graduated college, I realized I had no hobbies, so I bought a camera & started traveling. What started as an innocent quest for expression, became an internal battle for validation on the gram.

So I deleted my joints. And I must say, my anxiety disappeared! It was the best 2.5 years of my life 😂

At the tail end of that hiatus was a trip to Morocco with my cousin @ericacquaye. He had been a vet in the travel game, but it was the first time we ever traveled together. I grabbed the Tagine pot at the end to commemorate the trip, but it’s since become a representation of peace, presence & worthiness. by @markthearthur
