You can't embody anything you're attempting to change if you're not IN YOUR BODY, first.

In this video, I challenge the idea that business growth requires increasing your capacity to “hold more.” More revenue. More clients. More visibility. More responsibility.

I don't want women becoming better at carrying more. I want expansion to create more openness, not more contraction.

Because: The unknown is where entrepreneurship lives.

And when fear or resistance surfaces at the edge of growth, another mindset shift isn't enough. I share a simple body-first practice I use to reconnect with my body and intuition before taking aligned action.

When Your Environment No Longer Matches Who You're Becoming

After eight years in my home, I recently made the decision to move.

Not because anything was wrong. Not because I was unhappy.

But because I realized something important:

My environment no longer reflected the woman I was becoming.

Over the past year, I've stepped into a new chapter of life and business.

I refined my vision. Clarified who I serve.

Created Reverie + Velvet. Launched The Elegant Way Forward Salon.

And, I began to realize my home no longer matched the life I was creating.

One of the greatest lessons I've learned about reinvention is this: New identity → New vision → New environment.

The woman comes first. The environment follows.

The home became the final physical expression of an internal transformation that was already underway.

Perhaps that's true for you, too. Maybe it's not your home. Maybe it's your business.

I'm headed out on a new adventure, co-hosting a day long symposium on Saturday with my client and gracious friend, Stacie Martin, founder of Single Parent Advocate in the Dallas area.

I'm grateful for our six year relationship where this weekend I have the privilege of being in service to her passion, her "Success Formula" vision, and devotion to easing the challenges while empowering this single parent community.

We've been on Zoom calls since last Oct planning, scripting, and collaborating SPA's "Strong Parent, Bright Future" symposium - we are excited to see the vision come alive!

The day is filled with speakers and motivators educating and inspiring the parents and their children with resources in healthy cooking & eating, yoga and breathing modalities, devotional practices, financial tools, fun, play, and how to navigate AI as a parent in this ever-changing era.

I certainly empathize and relate to our guests, given my personal experience as a single mother of a now 35-year-old son. The amount of inner strength, spiritual support, resilience, and mindful choices required daily to raise a well-balanced, healthy, confident child in an environment of unconditional love is an extraordinary feat.

It's a journey that stretches you, tests you, strengthens you, and transforms you in ways you could never have imagined. I'll be sharing my story alongside Stacie encouraging the parents in our own way.

@redondobeachchamber 's Inaugural - Ignite: Mind, Body, & Soul Women’s Conference on Friday was a success!

It was such a privilege to deliver the morning keynote, meet many women for the first time and reconnect with friends, and support the attendee’s success. Kudos to all the speakers, panelists, and vendors!

Big acknowledgement to Chamber President Mara Santos, Membership Director Robin Goellner, and their team for their dedication to making the conference a hit!

Many attendees shared with me how they truly enjoyed the ease, flow and comfort level of the event, the variety and knowledge from all the experts and how the conference theme of change, transformation, and well-being were present throughout each speaker’s message. They went home- full of ideas, inspiration and new connections.

October is a full month! There’s something especially meaningful about looking at these three October experiences—speaking, serving, and gathering women in community in very different spaces.

From keynoting the inaugural IGNITE Women’s Conference here in Redondo Beach, to co-hosting the Single Parent Advocate Symposium in Dallas, to opening the doors to The Elegant Way Forward Mentorship Virtual Salon, I’ll be spending this month doing so much of the work I love.

It's been awhile since I shared Italy photos from any of my four trips there. My phone reminded me of my Sept 2018 trip today to the beautiful town of Cortona, home of author @francesemayes and her famous Bramasole Villa. Under the Tuscan Sun 🌞 ⚘️

I fell in love with this sweet, humble hillside town in Tuscany region. After my 5-days there, I took the train to dreamy Lake Como.

Italy is my soul space. Always fills my heart. What's yours? ❤️🇮🇹
