September stretched us, broke us, grew us and proved to us once again how faithful God always has been and always will be 🌄 by @marlainau

I still remember the day I took a positive pregnancy test with this lil’ guy. It was my last day in the corporate world at Kohl’s. And it was one of my first very clear affirmations that following the Lord’s path is always better.

Now that little one is 14…and we just keep saying we can’t believe it. To know Logan is to love him. He’s our planner, our thinker, and our take initiative guy who is always down for family time, dessert runs, sports anything and still snuggles. He loves being the baby of the house even though we can see those moments are fleeting.

This past year brought him a 13 yr solo trip with dad, a new mountain to snowboard on, some clutch autographs, a new baseball team, deeper friendships, a love for Universal and many sweet treats. I think my fave moment all year though was chanting the lyrics to this track alongside him on June 5 🎶

Praying for God’s leading over his life in this next year 💙👏🏻🎉 by @marlainau

1️⃣6️⃣! And so easy to celebrate 🎉 Stressed all day about that 3:30 test but got ‘er done. If I chose one word to sum up Evan’s last year it would be DISCIPLINE. You name the category, and he demonstrated that trait over and over. Still doesn’t make his bed every day but that’s ok 😉 I will forever be thankful for our endless car convos, the open window into his life and the rock he continues to be for me 💙 by @marlainau

JUNE 🎓⚾️☀️📚🥎 P said goodbye to Brookfield East and hello to a summer internship, her last travel ball season and endless plans with dear friends. The boys traded backpacks for baseball bags and are having the best time playing ball, hitting the gym, traveling to tournaments and enjoying the warm sunshine. I was so blessed to get to decorate for some special events this month and support a friend who wrote the sweetest children’s book. June was gone in a blink 🥹 by @marlainau

Saddled up for a few days in Jackson Hole with 3 teens that we introduced to the mountains years ago and never looked back. Sunny ski days. Animals everywhere. Zero lines. Card games. Yummy eats. And views for days. Family time in this cowboy town didn’t disappoint 🏔️🤠 ⛷️ by @marlainau

From the trip that never got taken last year to the trip that almost got cancelled days before take off this year, you were worth it. 23 years in the home lending industry watching my husband lead, grind, learn, grow and give. He sets high expectations for himself while working humbly from the smallest office because to him, seeing others succeed, know their worth and be a part of something bigger is the true pay day.

Grateful to Novus Home Mortgage for sharing in the vision of people over profit, respect over reward and family over all.

Truly not a detail was missed during this getaway. Such an honor; and what a celebration of so much good to come 👏🏻🏝️ by @marlainau
