🪷 While you may know me as MarlaYoga in Montana✨NYC was my home for 23 years. I built my life in Manhattan from the ground up in the early 90’s without a cell phone, email, or social media

🌃 What made me stay in NYC beyond my original 2-week plan was more than bright lights with big city glam or working at MAD Magazine…

🌠 It was my dream of possibility

💃 The longer I stayed, the city expanded with more magical doors opening because I said yes to possibility ✨ including travel ✨ new friends✨a career as a graphic designer ✨ having a family✨ becoming a yoga teacher🧘‍♀️

I’m feeling the synergy of September with transition and change 🍃🍂 Cooler days, longer nights and “back to school” with stores loaded with notebooks and supplies along with upcoming holiday decor 🍁🎃 I’m reminded of how temporary everything is and what a gift it is to experience life in each season

🍁Rooting down in autumn can bring up feelings of nostalgia and even sadness with summer ending✨I’ve learned to lean into time for self care… Getting outside, walks, connecting with friends and family, and making plans for what I love committing to my goals

☀️ We all know everything is temporary and time is a gift to enjoy life with love and joy, so consider this…

➡️ If this is the only life you get, what are you going to do with it?

🍁 Tips for Autumn:

🌻 Know deeply that all you get is now✨You don’t get to rewind or pause the hard chapters✨If something isn’t feeling aligned it’s okay to say no, you can’t be all things to all people

🌻 Sweep away what you no longer need and clear space for the new season with love✨What you give out comes back to you

🌻 Slow down with self care and create what you truly desire taking intentional steps forward

✅ Small shifts create change
✅ One aligned choice can shift how you show up and what you attract

💛🐢🦭🌊 My heart is overflowing with gratitude teaching this incredible group during the “Galápagos Yoga & Adventure Retreat” April 2026! ✨With specially themed daily yoga classes and excursions, we explored the beauty of San Cristóbal Island! ✨ Sea lions greeted us everywhere, we snorkeled with turtles, went to the beach with iguanas, boated to Española Island to see Blue Footed Boobies (and more!) and walked alongside endemic wildlife. ✨ We ate delicious meals together, and practiced Seva giving back to the community library with books each participant brought to share.✨ We discovered the strength and resilience within ourselves through yoga, laughter, and shared experiences…A special time to look inward and expand with fresh inner growth.✨We created a new community of friends and the chance to say ‘Yes’ to new things! 💛 This journey was an invitation to learn, grow, adventure, and to be present with peace✨☀️🌊🦭🐢Remember, YOU make the magic happen!
