There are some works that stay with you.

Untitled is one of those pieces for me.

Created in 2014, this work explores identity, silence, visibility, and the cost of being seen. The obscured face, the numbered form, and the tension between concealment and presence all speak to the complicated experience of being perceived—and of choosing when, how, and whether to reveal yourself.

Over the years, Untitled has been exhibited at Writ&Vision, Aces Gallery Seattle, Onyx Gallery Seattle, JKR Gallery, and the Odd Duck Studio Show, featured in Dialogue Magazine and Latter-day Saint Art: A Critical Reader, and included in private viewings with collectors.

The work received the Dialogue Art Reward and is signed front and back. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.

I’m making this piece available to a collector who feels a connection to its story, its history, or the questions it continues to ask.

Original work — $4,000.

For acquisition inquiries, provenance information, or additional images, please DM me.

What emotions do you feel when you see this? What do you see?

I was angry yesterday. So I did a quick 1 hr sketch to process my anger. Try it sometime.

Beyond the Asphalt and 1400 miles, we tell a story of I-15, a multidisciplinary contemporary art experience that explores the highway as a moving canvas.

I-15: The Left and Right Artery reimagines a profound mirror to our connected ideals, capturing the complex, bold and vital look at the characters, industries, and narratives that shape our collective journey.

This Exhibit/Q+A is a soft launch into an ongoing conversation and a challenge of how we view the spaces between us and within us.

You’re invited. 🤍

I’ll be at the opening reception for Contemporary Portraiture at the Springville Museum of Art on Wednesday, August 26 from 7–9 PM.

Three of my works will be included in the exhibition, and I would genuinely love to celebrate the opening with friends, collectors, fellow artists, and anyone who has followed my work over the years.

If you’re nearby, come say hello and experience the work in person.

I’m excited to share that three of my works will be included in Contemporary Portraiture at the Springville Museum of Art.

The exhibition opens August 27, 2026 and will remain on view through July 23, 2027.

There is something meaningful about seeing work that began quietly in my own creative process enter a space where it can now be experienced by others. I’m especially grateful to have several pieces represented in this exhibition alongside the work of other contemporary artists.

The opening reception will be August 26 from 7–9 PM, and I would love to see some familiar faces there. 🤍

Commissions are open💜

I’ve been quieter on here lately because I’ve been in a season of gallery work, creating, and letting things unfold behind the scenes.

That being said, I’m opening a few commission spots for custom artwork.

If you’ve ever wanted a meaningful piece created for your home, family, sacred space, or personal collection, I’d love to talk with you.

My work often explores emotion, identity, spirit, contrast, softness, and the unseen stories we carry — and each commission is created with intention.

Pricing depends on size, medium, and scope, so send me a message with the word COMMISSION if you’d like to begin the conversation.

I’d love to create something beautiful and personal with you.

On this Juneteenth, I share one of my most haunting works:

“Sow: Patterns of America”
The blueprint of bodies from slave ship diagrams into the shape of an American flag — on cargo paper, for many viewed them as such; cargo.

This is the soil this nation was sown in

This is not just art. It’s truth.
This is the shadow history of a nation built on stolen lives and stolen labor.

We’re still sowing.
Still reclaiming.
Still rising.

“Exotic” — Gouache , Watercolor & Acrylic collage

I painted this piece a few years ago as a way to release something I carried for too long. Growing up Black in Utah, I was often the first Black person people had ever met. Strangers touched my hair without asking. Boys called it “jungle fever” when they returned from missions attracted to Black women. I was labeled exotic—like a rare object, something to be poked, studied, desired, or dismissed.

This painting is for that younger version of me. The one who didn’t have the words yet. The one who felt on display. The one who was never meant to be anyone’s lesson or fantasy.

By painting it, I honored her and then let her go. That experience no longer defines my reality. I know who I am now. I am not exotic. I am sacred. I am real. I belong.
