DTP for @marlydesign

This mushroom was calling to me and it wanted to shine all alone, so it got all the deserved attention. Look what a beauty! I kept this card really simple: an embossed/inked base, a frame with vellum behind and very little decoration. Here’s where I fel in love with the distress color frayed burlap….

The mushroom is from the curiosities forest finds kit

Hi everyone! 🖤 today I’m back to share another Design Team Project for @marlydesign
I am absolutely in love with these Patchwork Phantom Paper Dolls & Pets. They are the perfect mix of spooky and cute. To showcase these kooky characters, I created a little folio packed with lots of texture and dimensional layers on the pages.
There are so many characters to choose from in the kits! For this project, I leaned into the more whimsical, kooky ones, but I am secretly obsessed with the scarier ones, too. The separate tags tuck perfectly into the pockets behind the main pages. (I think they would make the most amazing Halloween name place cards, Teehee!! 🤭 🎃✨)

Main kits used:
Patchwork Phantom Spooky Paper Dolls
Patchwork Phantom spooky Pets
Halloween Papers
Worn Numbers
Retro Rulers
Dusty Halloween Archives
Autumn Curiosities

DTP for @marlydesign

For this autumn card I used one of the gelprints I made with a @tim_holtz embossing folder. Some beautiful elements of the autumn curiosities kits, grunge it up a bit and there it is. It’s nice to return to some basics, some simplicity and not overdoing the decorating. Sometimes less is more.

DTP for @marlydesign

For this card I used a grungy background scrap and stamped some leaves on. I made a little collage with some gorgeous elements from the autumn curiosities kits and then stamped some extras on the background. The tab was also cut from a scrap, I stamped some script on it and gave it a bit more character with distress glaze.

DTP for @marlydesign

Autumn is slowly evolving and I love the colors nature makes in this season. I made a series of cards and tags with the stunning autumn curiosities kits. Here is the first card. I used some of the gelliprints I posted a while ago, they were perfect for some autumn makes. And I have a new favourite distress ink color: frayed burlap, it’s so soft and easy to combine, love love love it!

By the way: these kits are all about fussy cutting, which I don’t like to do. That said, I am proud of how I cut the hedgehog, it definitely was a test of my patience 🥴

Hi everyone, October is my absolute favourite month for crafting and today I’m sharing some ultra-layered, creepy clown 🤡 tags for my latest @marlydesign project. 💀👇🏻

🤡 The Focal points: Two incredibly eerie, creepy clown portraits that I just couldn’t resist.
💚 The Palette: Rich emerald green accents from “The Hallow Keepsake” fussy cut sheets.
✂️ The Style: Lots of dimensional layers and spooky textures to bring the theme to life.

I hope these creepy clowns didn’t give you to much of a fright. xXx 🖤🖤🖤
