Somewhere between pouring into everybody else and finally choosing myself, I became a woman I refuse to apologize for.

The growth was intentional. The boundaries were necessary. The transformation? Inevitable.

Some tables shook. Some dynamics shifted. But the woman standing here today? Still HER. Just elevated. ✨

They call it the Jesus Year. I’m calling it my year of alignment, abundance, audacity, and answered prayers.

August 31st, this move had me STRUGGLING. 😭😂 October 5th? MASTERED IT. 💅🏾

Progress isn’t always on the scale or in a running PR. Sometimes it’s realizing something that once humbled you… doesn’t anymore. 🥹💪🏾

I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my birthday month. 🥹♎️🏁

My first official 5K race AND I walked away with a new PR! 30:13 | 9:44 pace 🔥

But getting to experience this moment with my sister made it even more special. I truly wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to do this with. ❤️

Starting 33 with new accomplishments, new memories, and proof that I’m capable of so much more than I ever gave myself credit for.

Birthday month, you’re already showing OUT. 🎂✨

Correction: this was NOT my first 5K, this was my fastest 5K. I was tired recording this, okay?! 😭

But running a sub-30 5K taught me something about myself… I think I’m a distance girlie. 😂 Give me a 10K+ where I can settle into my pace, find my rhythm, and just RUN.

Because that whole feet-to-pavement, bust-it-out-as-fast-as-you-can 5K life?! Whew. 😮‍💨 Y’all got it. 😂

I finally understand the runners who say they’d rather run longer than run faster. I get it now. 🏃🏾‍♀️✨

As a survivor, this one hit somewhere deep.

We have endless debates about women’s bodies, but somehow not enough urgency when women are begging to be protected, believed, and heard.

I’m tired of watching women survive the unthinkable and then have to fight like hell for accountability afterward.

Protect women with the same energy you use to police our bodies.
