Once upon a time I built a pop up for @nativeshoes @santanarow.

Pop ups are one of my favorite things. Problem solving for designers when construction problems arise. How do we maintain the creative intent while managing time and budget, and keeping within jurisdictional boundaries.

One of the most critical parts of store design should be your shelving. Adjustable, illuminated, shallow, tall, deep, doors, face-outs…

There are details you should be asking yourself that you might not even know about yet. Showcasing your product properly is going to drive sales.
That’s what we do. Help you build your business. #storedesign #retail #retailexpansion taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @marquisprojects

The vision vs. the result 🤍

There’s something special about watching an idea that once lived on a screen become a space you get to walk into every day.

From the initial renderings to the smallest finishing details, Life Story was designed to feel calm, considered and welcoming. A space that reflects the way we approach everything we do: thoughtful, refined and intentional.

And somehow, the real thing turned out even better.

Our little home in Kits 🤍

Have you ever seen a concert in such a dreamy venue? The Freedom Arch at the PNE is such an incredible outdoor venue.
While the Lumberjack sports and the Demolition Derby no longer live here, (beneath the shadow of the Wild Mouse IYKYK), the new amphitheater is stunning.
We marvelled at the compound angles, curves made of heavy timber woven together with clean concrete ramps. Nostalgic lights from the fair peek between the arch all set to @bluerodeoofficial. Not a bad Saturday night. taken in Vancouver, British Columbia by @marquisprojects

Geeking out at Oakridge. The design details like the glowing soft seating, the illuminated neutral piers, the flooring details and of course the stadium seating. #retaillover #mallrat #design #retailconsultant taken in Oakridge Park Vancouver by @marquisprojects

Not my work, just something I saw in Brooklyn last summer. That rich saturated blue that only mid summer has. 💙 taken in Brooklyn, New York by @marquisprojects
