The vision vs. the result 🤍

There’s something special about watching an idea that once lived on a screen become a space you get to walk into every day.

From the initial renderings to the smallest finishing details, Life Story was designed to feel calm, considered and welcoming. A space that reflects the way we approach everything we do: thoughtful, refined and intentional.

And somehow, the real thing turned out even better.

Our little home in Kits 🤍

Sometimes it’s looks glamour having a business. Sometimes it even FEELS that way, but most days are actually my laptop and I in my kitchen. Payroll, CRA, inventory, marketing, groceries and a work out. School forms, dance shoes, groceries and laundry…
What I love is that I get to choose how the day unfolds. Squeeze in a work out, quick gardening session, coffee with a friend. Tiring, sometimes… can I add more, absolutely!

Truth and Reconciliation Day isn’t a holiday. It’s a day to remember, learn and step forward. 🧡

Since opening in 2022, we have been donating to the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre Society. https://vafcs.org/ who support Indigenous Peoples in our city.

First laptop free trip since the computer was invented. Belief in yourself and what you are capable of is surprisingly rare. He’s the ultimate man turning his dreams into reality. #hero

day in the life with sara.

running a small business, showing up for your teams, and still making time for family isn’t always perfectly balanced, but it’s always intentional.

Just reminiscing on our recent trip to #cincinnati for Shop! Marketplace 2024. It did NOT disappoint!

Shop! was jam-packed full of quality networking, high-level education, and discovering cutting-edge products and services designed to elevate the in-store customer experience.

It was a wonderful time connecting with our #retail industry peers at the @shopassociation annual trade show, and virtual golf was a huge hit at the @pave_connects social.

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2024 Shop! Design awards, as well as the winners of the Pave student design competition! 🥳

We're excited about the prospect of continuing to innovate and collaborate in the development of outstanding retail environments.

It takes a village for me to travel for work. Between 3 business and 2 kids, homework, sports, meetings.. it’s nearly impossible to carve out 2 days. But a friend reminded me “if you’re not visible, you’re invisible” so showing up counts.
There was a lot of talk about AI innovation this week, but if showing up really matters, it’s still about human connection. ✨
