🫈안녕하세요
Whatsup everyone I had a pretty crazy week. Not gonna lie the heat is getting to me a little bit but we did some good work this week. I think our apartment is haunted because randomly we will just be chilling and a light in another room will turn on.

Monday: on monday we went up to 안양 with our next door neighbor. We played some basketball and some board games.

Tuesday: we taught english class and did a lot of contacting. Its super hot right now so we are doing anything we can inside. Elder Glasgow was practicing cello and one of the members brought us burgers and shakes.

Wednesday: we had zone conference, with 3 zones. We had some good food and some good workshops. I got to see some people i havent seen in a while. Also a member took us out to eat and bought us cookie frappes. Pretty chill day if you ask me.

Thursday: we were teaching all day basically. we ate way too much food because our friends always bring us food. I should be way fatter with how much food I eat. We had Dumplings, corn steamed buns, regular corn (korean corn is way different) also fried rice at home.

Friday: we did a ton of contacting and watched a movie in 안양. We watched the other side of heaven which is like one of the only movies we can watch.

Saturday: English class, the Chinese lady i met on the train took us out to eat 감자탕 which is potato soup but theres almost no potato its just pork with this really good wasabi sauce you dip it in. Shes the Goat. 🥔🐖🫕🥤

Sunday: we had 3 friends come to church. Its super hard to get people to come to church so it felt so good to get some people to church. We also had a drop lesson with one of our friends.

Week 47: Ocarina of Time

안녕하세요
Whatsup everyone, I hope you are all doing well. This week was pretty good we were able to teach a lot.

We met with our friend Mr 주 joo. Last time we met I told him that I like music and he played this crazy flute for us. But this time he bought us Recorders and Ocarinas. Definitely one of the best gifts ive gotten in Korea.

This week we met with our friend David. He took us out to eat at Ashley Queens to meet his wife. If you dont know Ashley Queens or Ashley's, basically its an American style buffet that has infinite sushi and chicken and pizza and other stuff.

We met with this guy named IK whos basically this super Rich Korean guy. Then the next day we ran into him again at this old train that got turned into a library. He tried to recruit us to go to this festival thing for a month and he would pay for our hotel and everything. Hes not really that interested in the gospel so we probably won't meet with him again, but pretty chill.

We met with our next door neighbor and taught him, then played board games with him it was mad chill.

In 안산 we teach a lot more people than in 속초 its crazy. Its a lot of fun, it kinda seems like they are trying to buy our love because they always bring us snacks and gifts but im not one to complain.

Week 43: GOAT SOUP

안녕하세요
Whatsup everyone, i hope you are all doing well. Shout out my Dad, for father's day this year im going to one of his favorite areas in his mission 태백. The timing of this is crazy, my first time going there is on father's day.

Tuesday: on Tuesday we went to 양양 and had lunch with 2 members and had goat soup. Sounds really weird, but it was really good. The meat itself doesnt taste to crazy, but we ate it with this really good sauce that you dip the meat in. Kinda expensive but I definitely recommend. We then spent the rest of the day in 양양 we went to a buddist temple on a mountain by the ocean, very cool.

On thursday we went out to eat with our friend 진정용 형제님 we had 순대국, which is like blood sausage soup with a side of liver and lung, cant say im a fan of liver or lung but the soup was good.

Friday we did weekly planning and went to 명륜진사갈비, Korean Barbaque. This week we had some good eats. Usually we just eat like fried rice at our house.

Saturday: it was raining like crazy, we had 2 english classes so we were inside basically all day. We had our first student for our children's english class, he is from Japan, and speaks English Korean and Japanese. Hes only in Korea for a month or so with his grandma who comes to our other english class. Also on friday we ran into one of our English students who hasn't come in a couple months and she came and brought us Korean pancakes.

Sunday: we were sick, tried too many new foods, we chillin now.

Whatsup everyone, This week we had transfers, and we still in 속초. Im glad I stayed I love it here. My comps are dieing. 정재훈 장로님 went home this week, Elder Reynolds, and Elder Cox (my trainer in Philly) are going home this transfer. Anyways

원주
This week I spent a few days in 원주 while my companion went to 가평. Hes part of the choir. They were on the Korean news. 원주 is city in the mountains, it was pretty fun, but really hot. We had basically a zone elders p day. We went to a korean restaurant 맥도날드스 (shoutout Elder Krumperman, and Elder Adams)

We had two member meals this week, one on transfer news day, and one on Saturday. The members know the way to my heart.

모험
We did a lot of walking this week. We do a lot of inactive member visits, and drop off cookies. One day we walked up north for 2 hours to this beach. And had a comp study there. One other day we walked down south for 3 hours to this traditional Korean village that was refurbished. One of our inactive members live there.

This week I realized that I have no tags on gospel library about Heavenly Father. Here are some scriptures in found

Luke 11:11-13

11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

While we were in 원주 we were talking about what it feels like to be near Heavenly Father. A lot of the time we feel close to heavenly father through the Holy Ghost, one of the ways that I feel closest to Heavenly Father is by going to the temple.
