She made us feel so comfortable and special, we feel like we've known her for years. The ceremony was everything we could of asked for. It was the perfect mix of serious and absolutely hilarious. She portrayed our story exactly as it is, and made our vow renewal an absolute dream.

Imagine this: The most stunning couple, a big dose of vintage flair, a cozy bar tucked away in Redfern - @thebeardedtit, your nearest and dearest, and yours truly adding a touch of magic (Yep, I played my part!) ✨

So, Max and Maggie decided to take the plunge, and boy, was it something special! Their day was filled with pure joy, unforgettable moments, and loads of style. And @marganphotography worked their magic and captured it all beautifully. 😭😍🥰

Here’s the thing: Weddings don’t have to be in traditional venues. It’s all about finding a spot that screams ‘you.’ Trust me, getting hitched on a stage with a bubble gun finale is an experience you won’t forget - any day of the week, and I’d say, twice on Sundays! 😍

When the rain came down on Sam & Mark’s plans to say “I do” ☔️at the Rotunda at Balmoral Beach, we pivoted to the stunning Bathers Pavilion—and honestly? The vibes soared.🔥☀️

These two spunks met on Grindr and after discovering some serious chemistry, and realising that they were each others ONE, threw the most fabulous, fashion-filled, love-drenched wedding ever! 💒🔥😍

There were millions of bubbles, so many happy tears, epic tunes from @i.am.the.penelope and @larger_than_lions_official (who took us from crying as Sam and Mark entered the ceremony, to burning the dance floor 🪩🔥) and one seriously good-looking guest list. 💅🔥

Speaking of good looking—yes, Sam and Mark do look alike. 🕺🏻🕺🏻No, you’re not seeing double! 👯‍♂️Yes, it’s adorable! And yes, I did absolutely point it out in the ceremony.😂🥰

From heartfelt vows to a dance floor that did not quit, and every moment beautifully captured by @danielgriffithsphoto , this one was magic from start to finish! 📸✨🪄

Oh my gosh - I can’t wait to share Grace and Ellen’s magical day with you!

In the heart of Sydney’s inner west queer-topia, these gorgeous girls created a day that felt completely and beautifully theirs. It was a day that was very much about honouring their heritage as it was choosing each other in the places that they loved and had shaped them.   They spent the morning together at a stunning Airbnb in Newtown - their Mums helping them get dressed seperately before the most gorgeous joy filled first look that gave truly gave us goosebumps.   We wandered the colourful streets of Newtown that they love, stopping by murals and corners woven into their story, before we headed into the Sydney Botanic Gardens so they could ground themselves in their other love of nature.   Afterwards, we made our way to The Barrel Room in Leichhardt - a cocktail bar / restaurant oozing with character, clinking glasses and fifty of Grace and Ellen’s favourite people who’d honestly do anything for them.   We were so thrilled to be working with the incomparable @marriedbymarie and their ceremony was both deeply moving and fabulous - filled with equal parts tears and belly laughs. A relaxed cocktail style reception followed, full of laughter, love, connection and magic inner west energy.  Grace looked like a knockout in her white wedding jumpsuit paired with a Filipino scarf, and Ellen absolutely glowed in her silk wedding gown. The girls had kept their outfits a surprise, yet somehow they had matched perfectly .. almost like their love styled the whole day.  It was a feast of colour, connection, culture and queer joy woven into a beautiful heartfelt celebration. We loved every second.

Thirroul, December 2016.
 A Cold Chisel cover band was playing. Dan—wearing matching floral shorts, shirt, and a bucket hat—sauntered over and asked Shevaun to come sit with him.
Shev didn’t waste time. “I have a baby, you know.”
 Dan didn’t flinch. “So do I.” Pew pew! Just like that—match met.🔫🔫

They talked for hours. Then Dan did something wild😳he got down on one knee and proposed that very night.🥰

Shev laughed, “It was love at first sight… for him anyway.”😂❤️

Fast forward through blended family holidays, two sphinx cats, one wedding booked before the proposal (iconic), and a house full of love and chaos—this is the kind of story that reminds you: love doesn’t always follow the rules. But when it’s right, it’s unstoppable, just like Shev and Dan. 😍

Because of all of the horrible hateful things that are happening for the trans community at the moment, I’ve decided to give back by offering free naming day ceremonies between now and July while my wedding workload is low.

When’s so much in the world is dark for them at the moment, I would love for trans folk to feel celebrated and loved and supported.

If you have a family or a friend who would love a naming day and would love to be surrounded by the people who love them, please get in touch. I will be doing the ceremonies free of charge and preferably in the inner west as that would make things much easier.
