17 years ago today Mia was placed our arms, thousands of miles away in Nanchang China. One of the most humbling moments and greatest gifts of my life.
How ironic 17 years later on this day we would be moving her into college - James Madison University get ready!

What a fantastic four days spent with the talented students of @marronisue & @andrea_fanikos of @lapierredance!!! Three groups, a trio, a solo and four classes is a lot in four days but these dancers rose to the occasion and did it “FULL-OUT with FEELING”!!! Such a great vibe inside the studio walls with big smiles on all these kids, it just makes such a difference when creating and teaching. Thank you to Sue and Andrea for having me back and thank you to their students for sharing their JOY for dance. Enjoy the journey dancers!!!
