My client Will taking the stage for the first time with class.

Couldn’t be more proud of the physique he brought to a drug tested organization. This is just the beginning… I’m excited to see what he does after a proper offseason.

🥈 2nd Place Men’s Physique Open Class B
And arguably some of the best conditioning on stage that day.

Anyone who knows me knows I prioritize conditioning above all else and Will was able to follow through. Time to put on some size and see what we can bring in the future!

Posing after a great back day with client and athlete @brendan_mahon 💪

As a coach, I’ve always believed it’s important to be in the gym with my clients not just through workouts, but also posing, nutrition talks, and everything in between. The gym provides an environment that a phone never can. Some things are best communicated here, intensity, tempo, where to squeeze, when to push harder, when to pull back, and most importantly what your intentions should be.

Going forward, I’ll be focusing on myself the way I should as a competitor, setting the standard for my clients while sharing more content on training, nutrition, and everything bodybuilding. taken in Powerhouse Mahwah by @martincompetitor

This past weekend I had the pleasure of coaching @marissaocb into her pro debut in OCB Wellness.

The goal for this prep was simple: make a massive leap from her last showing at the local level—and that’s exactly what we did. Her size, conditioning, balance, and posing all saw major improvements, and we brought a much more refined package to the stage. Shout out @_.bkofficial._ for taking a huge role in her posing improvements.

She placed 4th in a very stacked class of seasoned competitors. Held her own. Looked right at home up there. Next time: a little more size, a touch more conditioning, and starting prep leaner.

This wasn’t an easy prep, and I’m extremely proud of Marissa for pushing through every challenge with a champion’s mindset. The work is far from done, but this is how you make a statement on debut. 🤝 by @martincompetitor

Great weekend guiding @b_mahonn into his first MP show. We chose Easterns around a year ago because we wanted to compete against the best the local level had to offer.

For a first time competitor Brenden brought a great package. Size, shape and posing were all strong points. Stage presence was undeniably great thanks to the help of @_.bkofficial._ .

Every move in this game has lessons to be learned from if you can recognize them. All first time competitors (myself included) get humbled by the level of conditioning needed to win. It takes seeing it in person to understand for next time. I have full confidence that next time Brenden hops on stage conditioning will be added to his list of other strong points.

Time to rebound ➡️ offseason and set a much leaner starting point next prep and then win an overall at a local show. by @martincompetitor

Proud of this because I made more progress in a year than I have in my past 3 years of lifting. What changed? I said fuck you to social media put my head down worked hard day in day out. Also was guided by @thebodybuildingspartan who was able to compartmentalize every aspect of my prep down to the T. The plan was very specific and constantly changing. It required every last ounce of my brain power to follow through. I felt like I was dying. I set a higher standard for myself. Did I achieve my goal? No. I wasn’t confident until we were pumping up backstage and I saw everyone else. That being said offseason is here by @martincompetitor
