it was such an absolute joy to play piccolo on such an amazing program with the @ashlandsymphonyorchestra last night!

growing up in ashland, some of my earliest musical memories are of the ASO. i remember feeling SO honored to win one of their scholarships when i was in high school (baby mary sighting in photo 5!). it was also very surreal to be performing at my high school again—truly a full-circle moment!

i had so much fun in the flute section with @erinhelgesontorres and @rotaverakrain , and it was so great to see @ gailzugger too!! i was also glad to be performing so close to home so my grandma could make it to the show💕 taken in Ashland High School by @mary.flute

i’ve been so lucky to collaborate with some incredibly talented people throughout the process of putting this performance together. we’ll be featuring a few of my original compositions, arrangements, and some solo flute works by Eric Dolphy.

i’m so excited share this performance with you! ❤️🤩

audrey and i had the best time in new orleans for the @jazzednet conference a few weeks ago! i had so much fun working with the JENerations Jazz Festival team and running sound for the vocal jazz clinic room again this year:) it’s such a joy to start my year off with this conference—i’ve been able to attend for the past few years now, and it’s always so invigorating to catch up with the community i have in this industry. i’m feeling so motivated and super excited to start my last(!!) semester of grad school next week! 😎🎷👍🏻 taken in New Orleans, Louisiana by @mary.flute
