When you choose to partner with someone who truly loves and respects you - a magic thing happens. There’s a trickle down effect. When you choose genuine love - you set a standard for everything else you do. It heals all the other areas of your life. Your relationship with friends and family becomes brighter and warmer. The food you cook becomes both an art and a source of nurture. You become supported, guided and protected in your relationship to work and you question if the way you are spending your time is aligned with your spiritually elevated self. When integrity and kindness are the foundation of the relationship - everything else shimmers and shines.

I married @beccaskyboland one year ago today and I try to spend a little time everyday in gratitude because my life is forever changed. Our wedding night was a dream and a movie and a legendary event. Twinkle lights, costumes, ring-o-ritas, pumpkins, a barn full of the greatest people, epic stories, all the hits - it was one for the books.

Becca I love you and can’t wait to spend 1000 more lifetimes with you. Because we are so free. We’ve just begun!

I saw this Mary Oliver quote the other day. It made me tear up a little because I remembered the feeling of the unknown before I had this incredible and perfect partner. And if you are out there, looking to be loved the way you deserve to be loved - then make sure you do just that.

Today is Becca’s birthday, and while a whole year has passed—packed with amazing friends and unforgettable experiences—I keep coming back to Becca in Tulum. I’ve never seen a more radiant human in my life. The Caribbean suits my kind, intelligent, thoughtful, sensitive, creative, spontaneous, and endlessly smiley wife.
The truth is, no matter where she goes—storm, wind, ice, or rain—she radiates island energy. Yes, we had the trip of a lifetime with some of the best people on earth, but honestly, Becca shines like the sun wherever she is.
So, Becca—on your birthday, I wish you Tulum vibes all year round.
While most people I know meet birthdays with a little hesitation, Becca embraces hers with humility and joy. She has the most youthful spirit I know—and luckily, our spirits get along really well because of that. :)

Summer, part one.

Welcome! @quinntylerhagstrand and @katerslater to the 40 Club (it’s an awesome decade. I’m only three years in, but - you’ll see!), celebrated Quinn’s birthday in the Catskills, spent the next day eating our way through the local restaurants with @rkoontz13 , and ran into Michelle and Jay from @brewery_silvaticus . They thought they could take a break from Amesbury... but We found you. ☠️❤️haha

We celebrated Ben and @lgermanowski getting married, floated all day @mayaspencer23 Fourth of July lake weekend, got a new city style courtyard, biked 1000 miles (not all on the same day), DJ’d a pride party, tons of video shoots, a few boat rides, beach bar hangs. Summer is a WILD ride. I love her soooooo much! (And I try to give @beccaskyboland a few rest days in between).

The world can feel pretty heavy these days. It’s not always sunshine and rainbows - but we take the rainbows where we can get em! 🌈

Pride is just pure joy. And this year - the kickoff has been a big ass party!!

You guys - we really really need pride. Everytime you throw on a few rainbows 🌈 , bring some one dollar bills for the queens, raise a glass, dance at the parade, explain pride to the old folks or the young ones, show up to a pride event - you are telling the queer community - “you are safe with me.”

And damn we really need it this year! Queer kids, especially trans kids are in danger. So you just have to show up.

This year we kicked off with all of our fave people in the best summer spots. You’re really missing out if you don’t get on board. Our club is wayyyyy more fun than that other one 😎😂 Because being a hater is super lame 😜

So let’s go pride 2026! Let’s keep in going!

Celebrating @beccaskyboland is one of my favorite hobbies — so you can imagine that her birthday is my happiest day of the year.

If you know her, you know how much of an anomaly she is. She’s def aging backwards (right?!). And she is constantly reinventing herself — a true free spirit.
She talks to nature — cheering it on in the spring, telling the new buds they’re doing a great job, or just saying “hello there” (in the sweetest voice).

She’s curious about learning new things: ice dyeing, glass cutting, screen printing, and her most recent amazing project — window screens from scratch (yup! Like making the frame, spline, screen, etc.). And in the last year, she also took on a producer role with our little film company and is quickly learning the ropes there too: building cameras, production docs, etc. She’s just the brave little toaster.

She’s proof of how much life can be lived in a year:
2 incredible trips to Mexico filming retreats, AMAZING new friendships, boating, beaching, gardens, yoga, strawberry lemonade at the Life in Color Party, The Floating Island (of dreams), Kennebunkport, NYC, so much Quinn time, The Pines, Motivate 300 classes, Jack and Suzie’s Italian 70th, Pride parades galore, protesting No Kings, Passover, Jo and Joel’s wedding, The Christmas Cabin — and so much more.

I swear we live 1000 lifetimes in one single year because Becca is so bright, alive, joyful, fun, and full of life.

Becca and I didn’t really know what to expect heading into a yoga retreat in the Mexican jungle — on a mountainside, by the ocean, with a group of strangers.

From the beach to the yoga studio is about 12–13 flights of stairs (depending on who you ask). Multiply that by a few trips a day, add a backpack full of camera gear, and you’ve got… a lot of sweating. But at the top? A literal treehouse overlooking the ocean - with whales breaching mid-practice. Unreal.

While I was there to document the retreat, I also fully participated. Getting to experience all of this alongside Becca — my best friend, travel partner, and constant support — is hard to put into words. Watching her fully in her element, at home on the mat, made the whole experience even more meaningful.

The days were full in the best way: authentic mexican prepared with love, open-air rooms where you’re basically sleeping outside (epic), morning coffee on the beach, waterfall hikes, aerial yoga, sound bowls, cold dips, village school visits, beach parties, dancing, an earthquake (small), laughing, deep conversations, and knowing it’s time to eat when you hear the conch sound off. Somewhere in there: karaoke night, watching the Patriots game on a cell phone at the bar, and approximately 47 million stairs.

The hardest moments weren’t physical — they were the ones that asked me to slow down. Quiet my mind. Breathe. This felt like a gentle, honest way to begin the year. Present. Grounded. Open.

I was ravenous to film everything — and I captured so much — but in many ways this felt like an artist retreat as much as a yoga retreat. I came home inspired, warm (still), and deeply grateful for a new group of incredible humans.

It was a true privilege to be invited to capture such a profound experience in such an epic place. @saraholesonyoga and @stephaniepaolini1 — you are doing incredible work in this world. When hope feels thin, sometimes simply reaching a hand out to someone is enough.

December is such an action-packed month—parties, events, closing things out at work, seeing friends and family. Our gift to each other this year was to run away to a cabin in the woods and rest. And it was truly surreal.
We arrived in the middle of a snowstorm and landed in this quiet little winter oasis for five days. On Christmas Day, we sat in front of giant picture windows and watched the snow fall all day long.

I don’t think enough people talk about how important it is to recharge during this first stretch of winter. Whether you have kids or not, it’s completely acceptable to spend the day in your PJs, to have slow mornings, to put the list down, to linger over meals and reflect on the year. To soak up some non-work screen time. To just let go for a minute. It’ll all still be there. I promise.

I also find it funny that this is the time of year we’re supposed to “turn our lives around.” January 1. New year, new you. So much pressure. There’s plenty of time for that.

For now, enjoy the quiet of winter. Keep breathing. Let that cold burst of air on your face feel invigorating. It’s going to get harder for a bit, which means it’s more important than ever to be gentle with yourself—movement, cold plunges, sauna, skiing, hiking, meditation, real self-care. Plan a trip if you can. Give yourself something to grab onto during the darker parts of winter.

What. A. Night. 🇮🇹🍝

The surprise 70th for our parents was a huge success — they were shocked (ish 😏). They knew the theme and pickup time… but nothing else.

The vibe? Anything Italian Goes — inspired by the movie The Big Night. My parents got so obsessed with that film back in the day that they started befriending local chefs, hosting late-night dinner parties filled with wine, dancing, and that iconic soundtrack (anyone surprised…?)

Decades of friends, endless laughing, and — per usual — four straight hours on the dance floor. These two are unstoppable. 💃🕺And wig swapping mandatory.

The Red Shutter bar kept the Hugo Spritzes flowing, helmed by a long-lost Italian cousin we flew in from a remote hillside village — she needed a little side cash, so we put her to work. 🍸

And the biggest shout-out goes to Aunty Tini, who shows up for any task and keeps us laughing even when party planning gets a little hairy. ❤️

What a night for two absolute legends - who believe in fun and joy above all! 🙌🏻🇮🇹
