✨ Still glowing after last night’s Pilchuck Gala! ✨

What an incredible honor to serve on the décor committee for Pilchuck Glass School’s 47th Annual Auction & Gala at Fremont Studios. Seeing months of planning, design, and collaboration come to life in such a stunning way was pure joy. 🫧

The evening was everything Pilchuck embodies — art, community, creativity, and connection. For one night, the magic of the Stanwood campus was transported to Seattle, filling the space with light, color, and artistry that celebrated glass in all its beauty.

I’m deeply grateful to have been part of a team that helped shape the atmosphere of this unforgettable evening — and to support an organization that continues to nurture artists and innovation across the globe.

Something Old, Made New in Paris ✨🇫🇷

My dear friend, and client-
@whyieatplants @alexis__hawes came to me with her mother’s 1992 wedding dress and a vision: to honor her chic heritage @maryluh1 while making the heirloom completely her own. 🤍

Together, with the amazing artistry of @esthergarciacostumes , we transformed her mother’s wedding dress into a modern party dress for her wedding celebration in Paris — full of intention, joy, and just the right amount of edge and fun! 🪡

The final look captured her story so beautifully it landed in Vogue France @voguefrance This is the magic of design with meaning — where memory meets modernity.✨

Night Two: The Peninsula Paris ✨

Marc placed a deposit on The Peninsula Hotel three months before he proposed, because even early on, we both knew two things: that we wanted to get married in September (a family tradition), and that this weekend would be ours.

We began the evening with an intimate rehearsal dinner in the Rotonde, surrounded by our families. We shared a seasonal menu by Chef @davidbizet , one of Paris’s most celebrated culinary voices. Dishes included garden tomatoes with truffled pepper, roasted turbot with wild garlic, and a delicate raspberry pavlova with Madagascar vanilla cream.

After dinner, we made our way upstairs to the rooftop, where the rest of our guests joined us under the glow of the Eiffel Tower. A live pianist and singer filled the Paris night air, an illustrator painted portraits of our guests, and we had a gelato cart alongside passed hors d’oeuvres like mini quinoa burgers, tuna tartare, and handmade ravioli.

That night, I wore something incredibly special: my mom’s wedding dress from 1992. I reimagined it by transforming the skirt into a playful bubble hem. With the leftover fabric, I created a dramatic bow that cascaded down my back. I paired the look with bow heels and a Dior pearl necklace with an Eiffel Tower charm, a nod to the rooftop skyline. I’m so grateful to @harmonyarnold for helping bring my vision to life, a sentimental reinvention I’ll always cherish.

As the final 30 minutes of the evening approached, the skies opened up and instead of letting it slow us down, our guests lined the hallway and created a human tunnel for us to run through, laughter echoing down the corridor. It was unplanned, unforgettable, and the perfect ending to a night already filled with so much love.

Jason and I had the honor and the privilege of celebrating my cousin’s wedding in Paris, over Labor Day. The event was simply exquisite and every detail was considered, all the way down to the linen napkins that Alexis and my aunt embroidered themselves.

I especially loved the strictly black and white dress code, which was the perfect Parisian chic.
