@segeraretreat I am still speechless! This place is unlike anything I have ever experienced 🤭

The highlights:
🦏 Finally seeing the black rhino and boy was he beautiful

🥗 Farm to table food grown right on the property, every single bite made with care by chefs Denise and Violet, I will be dreaming of their dishes

🐕 The anti-poaching dogs Hally, Daisy, and Gypsy, the unsung heroes (along with the team) protecting this land/animals every day

🌱 The sustainability practices that make this place extraordinary: fully solar powered, harvested rainwater, animal conservation, East Africa’s first female rangers academy

🐘 The watering hole which included elephants, zebras, rhino, monkey’s, warthogs, birds, and giraffes saying hi daily

🚁 A helicopter day trip over northern Kenya that took my breath away (more on that soon!)

Thank you for making us feel so at home in the most extraordinary corner of this planet 🌍🌿

Happy Mother’s Day to every single one of you who shows up, loves hard, and makes the people around them feel seen🤍

I have the privilege of having been raised by two of the most incredible women:

My mom, my very best friend. She embodies elegance, grace, and thoughtfulness in everything she does. The way she moves through the world with such care and intention is something I have spent my whole life quietly studying and trying to embody.

And my sister, who in so many ways has shaped me into the woman I am today. As my big sister she has been a guide, a safe place, and an example of what it looks like to love people fully and fiercely. Watching her become a mother has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

I always say I could only hope and dream to be half the mother either of these women are. That would be more than enough.

And to the women that feel tender right now, those navigating fertility journeys, those whose version of motherhood has not looked the way they imagined, those who are waiting and hoping and grieving quietly; I see you. Motherhood is not one thing. It is showing up. It is the details. It is unconditional love in whatever form that takes.

For me right now it looks like being an auntie. And honestly it has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. My niece and nephew have my whole heart and getting to love them the way I do has given me a glimpse of what someday will feel like. I cannot wait for that day!

And last but never least, a very happy Mother’s Day to all the dog moms who pour their whole hearts into their fur babies. Being Kingstons mama has forever changed me 🐾

Moms are superhero’s ❤️

Our feet still haven’t touched the ground, the gratitude is overflowing… 🥹

There is truly no greater gift than sisterhood, women of all ages, shapes, sizes, stories, and perspectives coming together and creating something that feels almost sacred.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip… the kind you feel in your chest, the kind that shifts you quietly and completely.
A week of bonding, softness, laughter, healing, and seeing ourselves reflected in one another in the most beautiful way.

I’m still soaking in every moment.
Letting the words, the wisdom, the conversations, and the breakthroughs settle into my bones.
My heart feels so unbelievably full from this experience ❤️

I cannot wait to bring another group of women back here…
but for now, I’m holding these memories close and letting them integrate exactly as they’re meant to ✨

✨ Still glowing after last night’s Pilchuck Gala! ✨

What an incredible honor to serve on the décor committee for Pilchuck Glass School’s 47th Annual Auction & Gala at Fremont Studios. Seeing months of planning, design, and collaboration come to life in such a stunning way was pure joy. 🫧

The evening was everything Pilchuck embodies — art, community, creativity, and connection. For one night, the magic of the Stanwood campus was transported to Seattle, filling the space with light, color, and artistry that celebrated glass in all its beauty.

I’m deeply grateful to have been part of a team that helped shape the atmosphere of this unforgettable evening — and to support an organization that continues to nurture artists and innovation across the globe.

Here’s to another year of imagination and artistry shining bright. 💫🥂

Something Old, Made New in Paris ✨🇫🇷

My dear friend, and client-
@whyieatplants @alexis__hawes came to me with her mother’s 1992 wedding dress and a vision: to honor her chic heritage @maryluh1 while making the heirloom completely her own. 🤍

Together, with the amazing artistry of @esthergarciacostumes , we transformed her mother’s wedding dress into a modern party dress for her wedding celebration in Paris — full of intention, joy, and just the right amount of edge and fun! 🪡

The final look captured her story so beautifully it landed in Vogue France @voguefrance This is the magic of design with meaning — where memory meets modernity.✨
