Alejandro and I met cooking at Pa’la years back. He has always been an inspiration to me. If anything, he has perspective and it has been incredible to see him grow, and exciting to see what he will do next. It’s been an honor cooking with him.

PIZZA NIGHT @sauvagephx

our team is changing things up a little bit this early September. we will be @sauvagephx this Saturday cooking pizza outside. weather is looking nice—maybe even nice enough to sit outside. ice cream sandwiches by @ghita_phx

Hope to see you there from 6-10pm.

we will also see you for our usual 4th Saturday, the 26th. by @mas.amable_az

SATURDAY AUGUST 29th

dinner begins at 6pm @sauvagephx

we will be cooking a lot over charcoal this weekend. lots of fresh, vibrant and charred flavors from the menu.

some will be portuguese sausages cooked in apple cider. hamachi crudo prepared in a tomato salad with saffron. lastly, a favorite from last summer—blistered and marinated chilis with a toasty hazelnut salsa.

@ghita_phx returns with incredible choux au craquelin—one of our favorites

@sauvagephx also has a good selection of wines coming from some iconic producers—available this weekend.

some include a variety from Matassa. a respected and serious roussillon natural winemaker. their Mediterranean wines are often herbal, savory, floral, sometimes slightly wild, but remarkably energetic and mineral.

lastly, some wines from the younger rising Auvergne producer, @henrichauvet his wines tend toward bright, crunchy, lifted and mineral—Gamay, Pinot, Chardonnay—very terroir driven

plenty to pick from. grab a friend or two and join us this Saturday starting at 6pm by @mas.amable_az
