لسه بحاول استوعب !
السنه دي مهرجان القاهره كان مميز اوي بالنسبالي، جاتلي اول رساله من تامر روجلي مُخرج فيلم وحشتيني "مبروك الفيلم هيتعرض ف مهرجان القاهره" فرحت جدا وتحمست وبعدها بيومين جاتلي رساله من قسمت السيد منتجة فيلم ابو زعبل "سلمي في خبر رهيب جدا فيلم ابو زعبل ف في مهرجان القاهره وداخل المسابقه وكمان ف ادفا ف امستردام" بعدين مكالمه من صبري منتج فني للفيلم الامريكي inheritance " اعملي حسابك هعدي عليكي اخدك علشان الفيلم الامريكي ال اشتغلناه هيتعرض ف مهرجان القاهره والمخرج جاي من امريكا يحضر وبعدها نحتفل!" .. حضرت العروض وكنت فخوره جدا وحاسه ان حياتي واختياري للشغلانه دي وكفاحي من وانا عندي ١٦ سنه ليه معني وان زرعتي بدأت تطلع ورد !
علي آخر المهرجان رسايل كتيييير ومباركات وانا واقفه بعمل بلونيز ف المطبخ " سلمي مبروك ابو زعبل كسب احسن فيلم تسجيلي طويل "

لسه بستوعب بس الاكيد اني بسأل نفسي ف اللحظه دي ايه اهم حاجه ؟ هي فرحة ماما وصبري وفخرهم بيا ، بس كدا دي جايزتي وانا بعيش علشان اللحظات دي .. متفائله جدا بالمستقبل ونفسي مفتوحه اعمل افلام واحضن ماما وصبري، ولسه في حكايات كتير متقالتش💗💗💗💗 by @maskotkaa

We had the first screening of Al Baraneya at the 23rd Giornate degli Autori, during the Venice Film Festival.

It’s strange how one moment of pride can somehow make peace with so many brutal nights — the tears, the exhaustion, the days that demanded more than I thought I had to give, and the quiet breakdowns no one ever knew about.

After almost a year of preparation, creation, pressure, and pouring so much of ourselves into this film, standing there surrounded by our crew, gathered from different parts of the world to celebrate our first screening, felt incredibly special.

For a moment, all the weight of the journey turned into something else. Something worth celebrating.

I deeply missed everyone from our crew who couldn’t be there with us. But I know we’ll gather again, somewhere, at another screening, and get to feel once more that all of it meant something.

I’m endlessly grateful for this experience — for how hard it was, for how beautiful it was, and for everything it took from me and gave back in return.

Some experiences exhaust you, break you open, and somehow still leave you grateful you lived them. This was one of them.

Proud to have been the Art Director of Al Baraneya. 🤍

⁨ ⁨ اشتقت إلى الكتابة،
ليست للتعبير كما ظننت، ولكن للاستكشاف.

اعتدت على الكتابة عن جمال العالم، فرأيت جمالي، ومن جمالي أغرمت بجمال الآخرين.

أكتب عن تجربة الوجود السحرية، عن أرواح، أو روح ما قبل الأجساد أو الجسد. أرواح أشارت إلى هذا الكوكب متطلعة للتجربة، للاكتشاف بخفة.

اكتشاف كل شيء بفضول طفل حديث الولادة، يعرف بفطرته الألم والجوع والحب والفضول. مولود لم يتعلم الخوف بعد، ولم يرثه في چيناته.

أتذكر حكاية جدتي عن شجاعة طفلتي، وأعني بطفلتي أنا كطفلة. روت عني حبي للمس الأشياء، وخصوصًا كل ما هو لامع ومضيء، وكان على رأسها النار. كم كانت مغرية في عيون طفلتي، مضيئة مشتعلة، وألوانها المتداخلة مثيره للمس حد الجنون، ولم يكن لدى طفلتي إلا الجنون، فالعقل لم يكتشف نفسه بعد.

قالت جدتي إنني بكيت مرارًا للمسها، ولكنها في كل مرة منعتني، إلا المرة التي انقطعت فيها الكهرباء، وأخيرًا انفردت بنار شعلة شمعتي، ومددت يدي وعيوني تلمع للمس هذا الكائن الغريب؛ لا صلب ولا سائل ولا مرن، لا أحمر ولا أخضر ولا أصفر.

أمسكت بها وشعرت بهذا الدفء العنيف، وفي وقت لا أستطيع وصف ضآلته، تألمت بشدة وقبضت يدي على النار، فانطفأت الشمعة.

أحكي عن أولى خطوات الخوف في مشوار قلبي. خفت من النار، وصدمت من خدعتها لعيوني.

على الجانب الآخر، حملني هذا الخوف بيد ناعمة إلى حب جدتي، إلى فهمها. تساوى ميزان الخوف والحب في قلبي، ولكن بعد التئام الحرق الصغير في إصبع طفلتي.

كبرت طفلتي فأصبحت أنا. لم أربط الخوف بالألم، بل بحب جدتي. غابت جدتي وبقي الخوف، فأصبح صديقًا يحميني بحب من آلام الشموع كما حاولت جدتي.

أحببت جدتي، أحببت الخوف، واكتشفت أن متعة النار في رؤيتها وليس لمسها.

أضأت شموعًا كثيرة معطرة، وجلست أمارس هوايتي المفضلة، اليوجا، وأتأمل في الحب والخوف ووجه جدتي.
