How do you beat the man that would rather die than quit? Saturday night I became a 2x British Champion in my toughest fight to date. My opponent landed a perfect flying knee 20 seconds into the 2nd round which broke my jaw in 2 places, but we dug deep and refused to go out without a fight.
I’d like to start by thanking @isaangym for all the time and effort he puts into me.
I’d like to thank @isaan_fight_series for having me on the show, and giving me the opportunity to main event a great card.
I’d like to thank @heavenlybodies_gym for all the work he’s put in with me this year absolutely changing the game as far as my strength & conditioning is concerned.
I’d like to thank @thenakmuaynutritionist for helping me with the smoothest weight cut of my career which helped me to perform at 100%.
And finally I’d like to thank all my friends and family that made the journey to come and support me in the toughest fight of my career. Your noise is what got me through those rounds with a broken jaw when most other people would’ve given up. Time for me to rest and recover for a little while, then we’ll see what the future has in store 🙏🏼 by @masonbooth01

WMO British Champion. Don’t even know where to begin. Hardest 12 weeks of my life all payed off last night, blood sweat and tears, every emotion in the world but it all came together. It takes 2 to tango and @harleykingeverton is one hell of a dance partner. One of the toughest guys you’ll see in that ring and he’s always involved in a war. Incredible fighter and a pleasure to share the ring with you for a 3rd time mate. 48 tickets sold, we made some fucking noise last night. Much love to everybody who showed up for the biggest day of my life. Can’t put into words how grateful i am to @isaangym and @heavenlybodies_gym for all the work they’ve put in with me and for getting me to this point in my career. So honoured to call you both my coaches and my friends. Some team we have 💙thankyou to Kev @majestic_gym_ for the opportunity to fight on such a great show. A huge thankyou to all the lads in the gym who helped me to prepare for this mentally and physically. And as some people know i wanted to win this fight even more for our mate Guy who tragically passed away recently. It’s been hard putting my emotions to the side through training but I had a job to do, and all those emotions spilled out after the decision was given. A very emotional day but a very special day and one I’ll never forget 🙏🏼❤️ by @masonbooth01

Gutted to announce that my fight on the 31st October is off due to my opponent pulling out. It’s been tough having 2 fight camps cancel back to back, but all focus is now on the 21st November. Still got a big fight to end the year on a high 🙏🏼 by @masonbooth01

🥊 FIGHTERS NEED MORE THAN STRENGTH. THEY NEED SPEED, TIMING & INTENT.

One of my professional Muay Thai fighters putting those qualities to the test during a plyometric session. 💥

Starting in the press-up position, he has to react to my command, explode from the floor, clear the obstacle, absorb the landing and immediately attack a 30-inch box.

This isn’t just about jumping high.

It requires:
⚡ Explosive power
🎯 Timing & coordination
🧠 Reaction to an external command
💪 Rapid force production
🔥 The ability to execute under pressure

And that reaction to the coach’s command is something I really value with fighters.

Inside a fight, your coach can often see opportunities that the fighter simply can’t see from their position. Being able to listen, react and execute immediately when you’re fatigued, under pressure and surrounded by chaos can be a valuable skill. Something I see Ste from @isaangym working with all the time.

The goal isn’t just to make an athlete stronger.

It’s to make them faster, more explosive, more reactive and better prepared for the demands of competition.

This is strength & conditioning with a purpose. 🥊💥

There are no shortcuts in this game.

No one sees the early mornings, the endless rounds, the injuries, the sacrifices, or the countless hours of preparation. They only see the fight.

This weekend I had the privilege of standing in the corner once again as the Strength & Conditioning coach for Mason, Brayden and Tommy. Watching these warriors step through the ropes and leave every ounce of themselves in that ring reminds me exactly why I love this job. 🥊💪

Every fighter who wears the Team ISSAN badge represents something bigger than themselves. Discipline. Loyalty. Courage. Brotherhood. Win, lose or draw, these lads never take a backward step. They go to war every single time. ⚔️🔥

A huge thank you to Ste Donnally. Not only one of the best coaches in the game, but a great friend. It’s an honour to work alongside someone whose standards never drop and whose passion for his fighters is second to none. 👊

As an ex-British Army PTI, one lesson has stayed with me throughout my coaching career:

Train hard. Fight easy.
