A lot of planning goes into a delivery before the truck ever leaves Mason’s Mill.

Every load starts with a few questions. Can the truck get onto the site? Is the crew ready to receive it? Is everything strapped down and supported for the drive? Getting those answers right means the material shows up on time and in good shape.

Today, we remember Brian Wimbley II — a valued member of the Mason’s Mill & Lumber family and, most importantly, a friend.

We are deeply saddened by Brian’s passing. We will remember him for the person he was, the memories he shared with those around him, and the impact he made during his time with us.

Our hearts are with Brian’s family, friends, coworkers, and all those who loved him during this difficult time.

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library opened its doors this July, and we’re proud that Mason’s Mill played a part in bringing this incredible project to life.

For the Library, we prefinished @thermoryusa’s Benchmark Knotty Pine with @cuteknorthamerica Extreme in Smokey Gray at our Houston facility. The result: durable, weather-ready wood that arrived on-site ready to install and complements the Library’s natural surroundings. From Houston to Medora, we’re proud to see where good wood can go.
