Check out this custom 1 of 1 competition piece made for @maka_vickers ! Maka is what jujitsu is all about, using embodied wisdom to control someone larger and stronger.

Reflected in the Greek mythology as the embodiment of wisdom, Athena’s victory over the embodiment of war, Aries in combat.

From this perspective does jujitsu allow you to physically merge with wisdom? If your a MatDragon the answer is clear

Be like Maka, merge with wisdom over war, train jujitsu, be a MatDragon 🐉 taken in Renzo Gracie Austin by @matdragonart

Adien is becoming more and more like Spider-Man everyday ! Really enjoyed making this 1 of 1 custom design for him as he’s quickly becoming one of the best training partners in the gym. Through his technical pace & training 2x a day, maybe only a skyscraper could limit this Mat Dragon!🔥🔥🐉 taken in Renzo Gracie Austin by @matdragonart

Dear Jiu-Jitsu Community🔥

You are the hyperbolic Mat Dragon exploding through space beyond time and into each expressed moment on the mat. 🐉

Awestruck by the way in which we are creating the consciousness of jiu-jitsu together! Each individual contributes another pattern to be placed, creating an ever expanding tapestry of knowledge and skill that is as intricate and diverse as the techniques themselves.. As are you.

It is through your united efforts that the jiu-jitsu community has grown into what it is today, a place where people from all walks of life come together to share in the passion, discipline, and creativity that is inherent in this beautiful art. 👁️am honored to be a part of this🔥 taken in Renzo Gracie Austin by @matdragonart

All congratulations to Meregali after training Nogi for over 1 year and coming back to the gi in spectacular fashion. Proving the art of jujitsu extends far beyond gi or nogi and into an intimate understanding of the movement of energy.

In his words:
“the essence of Jujitsu.“

Meregali’s incredible double gold performance shows how powerful it can be to expand your perspective and train in a way you’ve never trained before 🙏

Check out John sporting the new Renzo Dragon rash guard I designed! 😱 It's crazy to think that just a year ago, this seemed impossible, but here we are!

His dedication to this art and to his students is an inspiration to us all. And, to see him wearing rash guards that I designed only adds to the sense of unity and pride that I feel as a member of this community.
Therefore, to the mat dragons that make up the jiu-jitsu community, I express my heartfelt gratitude. Thank you for inspiring me, for challenging me, and for contributing to the consciousness of jiu-jitsu. And to Jon Danaher, I am grateful for the opportunity to be coached by someone of your caliber and to be a part of this incredible community that you have helped to build.

With love and appreciation,
-Godfre 🙏🐉 by @matdragonart
