Hi 🐾 my new Meowmy named me Colby 🐈‍⬛
I’m nearly 8 weeks old and my Great Great Great grandfather Mate sent me to my new Meowmy ♥️🖤
I was sent from up above with love 🌈💫
My new Meowmy tells me she tried her best to get a rescue cat but it just didn’t work out that easily for her😿
In a way I’m a rescue cat as my cat mum got hit by a 🚗just a few days ago and went to the 🌈 so I’ve been saved from the big scary outside 🌎
Meowmy has been so lost and sad without her Mate who was loved by so many
Will you all get to love me one day 💬🙏🏼🖤
I spent all day yesterday hiding under the table.
Last night I came out and explored my new 🏡
I think I’m going to like it here.
Meowmy wasn’t sure she was doing the right thing by taking me in
She had mixed emotions, she tells me stories about her love for cats and all her cats she’s had to say goodbye to over the years
Meowmy tells me I will never replace the loss and love she had for her dear old Mate after spending a long loving 21 years together 💔😿
But she tells me we both need each other’s love and company to 🖤♥️

I’m not really up for writing this post 💔
But I may not be around for a while 💔
But it’s 1.30am and I just want to let you all know my poor old boy has gone 🥲🥲🥲🥲
I had to take a taxi and rush him to the emergency vets,
I held my little fragile boy in my arms where he went peacefully. 💔
I stayed with Mate for 15mins after and just held him in my arms kissing his little wet head and sweet face 🥲
I’m so broken and will never ever be strong and get over this.
I’ve lost my boy of 21 lovely years, he gave me strength and a reason to smile and make a nice home for.
My heart and soul is now dead and empty 💔
Please forgive me for not reading or replying but I’m so broken 😭🥲💔
I just want to switch my phone of and go in a deep sleep

Yesterday I had to make the hardest decision in my lifetime.
Monty was diagnosed with kidney disease 16 months ago.( didn't realise it was that long ago)
On Friday 4th August he took a turn for the worst.
I spent the entire weekend making him comfortable and loved,hoping he would pull through.
His progress and ability to fight this went down rapidly. I knew by then I was losing my special boy.
On Tuesday 8th August at 3.10 pm I had to say goodbye to him at the vets, this was the kindest thing I could do for him, due to all his little organs had give up on him.
Me and Mate said our last goodbyes, I held him in my arms and he was purring and snuggled his little dry nose under my chin until his final breath.
This has totally broke my heart.
My home and my life will never ever feel the same without him.
Monty was my life and best friend.
I lay there for hours last night staring into space holding his tartan blanket, when I woke up this morning I had a awful empty feeling of knowing that he wasn't here and would never see his sweet face again.
I've cried enough tears to fill a bath. I have spent nearly 17 years without fail with him beside me on my bed.
He was my excitement and reason to rush home from work and my reason for looking forward to cosy weekends, he was my reason for making my home and balcony nice for.
I will never get over this, but I know he will be looking down on me from 🌈 bridge and will be with his belated brother, mother and father. I need to try and stay strong for his brother Mate and give him lots of love as he's missing the same like me. 🕊
I want to thank everyone for all their loving posts, tags and reposts, I will read them all in good time.
Also want to thank a very special lady in my life Andrea from @catsofrainsford who has been there every day through this, and kindly paid for my boy to be coming back to my home, without her I wouldn't have got through, and the not knowing of where to leave Montys soul to rest, has taken pressure of me. She's a true genuine kind loving friend.

Meowmy was very pleased with me late last night 😺
She walked down the hallway to discover a HUGE 🕷️
But luckily for her I had already left it for dead 🙀😹😹😹

Happy Thursday my furriends 🐾
I’ve got used to my Meowmy being back at work now😺
I only missed her for one day 🙀😹😹
I’m always in the hallway when she arrives home, she thinks I’m waiting for her but I’m really waiting for my treats 😹😹😹😹
We had rain today and thunderstorms my Meowmy was so excited to go outside in it and get wet 😺

Meowmy is cat sitting again for Apollo, Zues and Teddy
I’m not happy about it 😼
She’s also gone back to work this week and spent hours deep cleaning the 💩 school 🙀
I miss my Meowmy and wish she could retire 😼

Hello my furriends 🐾
I’m not very happy today 😼
I’ve been traumatised 😼
I went to the dreaded vets for my annual check up
I’ve been prodded and poked and had needles 💉 stuck in me, then I had flea and worm treatment 😼(even though I don’t need it)
I’m pretty pissed off with my Meowmy 🙀
Listen to the last video outside my front door 🙈I screamed all the way there and back 😿but in the vets I didn’t make a sound.
I’m back home now where I belong and had some treats 😺
My check up was all ok.

Hope you all had a nice Caturday my furriends 🐾
Meowmy left me all day today and went off on a 🚂 to a lovely little city Ely
She visited the Cathedral , looked round the shops and even had the cheek to have 🐟 and 🍟🙀
But she did bring me back lots of my favourite treat sticks, so all is forgiven 😺
Plus she said it did her good to get out because she’s definitely a hermit 😹😹😹😹.

Good evening my furriends 🐾
We are in a heatwave again and it’s going to be even hotter tomorrow 🥵
I’ve taken up the whole 🛋️, but that’s ok because my Meowmy always sits on the floor 🙀 not sure why but she’s always done it even as a child 🙈
Today she had a friend round
It’s a close friend that she’s known for years, but for some unknown reason they both just drifted apart, they never had a fall out or anything like that and always spoke and made promises to each other when they bumped into each other in the street that they would see each other soon but never did.
Well today they made up for it
Blah blah blah 😹😹😹😹
7 hours later🙀 I actually came out from under the bed 🙊
Meowmy said it was nice to see her and it was just like they were with each other back in 2021. 😺
They had a lot to talk about and Meowmy is happy that she finally made that move to invite her over for a coffee and shortbread 😺
Anyway I hope you are all well and coping in the heat.
