PART 3/3 of my performance at @firedrumsfestival this year. Ignition 🔥

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the support - you make the years of chasing after these underdog props worth it!

Oh @firedrumsfestival - you never disappoint. What an awesome place to pass on the (palm) torch to the next generation of spinners by proving that this underdog prop IS a prop and running a 30+ person workshop. Never underestimate the power of tiny wicks in the right hands! 🔥

Fire noodles at Florito in lovely VT a few weeks back 🥡 These don't come out that often due to their exquisite spice level 🔥

Getting into the newer/harder stuff. Second trick shown is a pre-req/practice for the third. ⭕⭕⭕

These require a lot of shoulder mobility and control. Make sure to stretch, try with different sizes of hoops, and don't overdo it! 🩹

Collection 3 - This one starts with my favorite "original", followed by a (half) C-roll sequence and finishing with a difficult half-pirouette placement using an arm roll.

As these continue, they may be hard to sort out by just watching a looped video. Reach out with questions 🙂

Number 2 is a quick one, but also fundamental - use behind-the-back swaps to throw in some variety and additional transitions to your placements!

More collections to come! Thanks for your interest so far.

First of a new series I've put together for you all ❤️

Teaching triple hoop placement juggles this year has gone so well that it's motivated me to collect and share these placement juggles in a more organized manner! 🎓

This first one falls short of a true tutorial, but shares most of the basic content I teach in my intro class. More to come that cover intermediate and advanced manips. ⭕⭕⭕

Maintaining the #matetuts hashtag for this + other education material on my IG to make it easier to sort through.

Our palm torch choreographed takeover at #glfr this year was amazing! Thanks @r0zb0t for the perfect dj set to wiggle it to.

Thank you to my ~20 students who were able to absorb all the tech and then completely smash the choreo in just 1 hr!

And a special ❤️ to those who came to show the rest of the festival what we accomplished later that night.
