Welcome @becker_nomads 🎬🚀

We’re excited to welcome director Pedro Becker to our roster of live-action directors, marking his official entry into the US market. A filmmaker who came up through editing, Pedro captures naturalism on camera and often turns it into surrealism, with music, theater and photography running through his process.

Selected works include campaigns for SportingBet, Pepsi, Apple, Volkswagen, Nike, Coca-Cola, Skol and Nestlé, along with the Vivo film “We Drowned It” shot entirely underwater, which earned him a Ciclope Latino for Best Director. His work has also been awarded at Cannes Lions, LIA, El Ojo and FIAP.

“We’ve been mutual fans for a long time, and the timing of this feels perfect and in line with where he’s heading as a director and where we’re going as a company,” says LOBO Managing Director @luissuckowribeiro

For the next #thePreDonts we have @mateussantos , founder and creative force behind @lobo.cx , the design and animation studio with roots in São Paulo and New York. 
Mateus started out in graphic design and got his early taste for animation and motion at MTV Brazil. That curiosity eventually led him to start Lobo, a place where he could follow his ideas, experiment, and make work that felt distinctly his own. 
And people took notice. Lobo quickly became one of Brazil’s most exciting creative studios, going on to pick up recognition from Cannes, Clio, The One Show, and D&AD, while creating work for brands like Coca-Cola, Adidas, Volkswagen, and Fiat. 
Mateus has since moved from animation and design into live action and directing, but kindly took a beat in the middle of his hectic schedule to share a humbling story from one of his earliest productions. taken in São Paulo by @mateussantos
