Technology and craft, in perfect balance 🎬

Our EP @susaninglesa sat down with @lbbonline for their Meet Your Makers series. She talked about her unconventional route from London to Brazil into production, why chaperones are one of the most underrated roles on set, and why the future of production isn’t about choosing between technology and craft.

There’s another side to @nifischer 🎞️

Between sets, she shoots. Started in 2017, mostly while traveling, in the gaps where she can pay attention to one thing at a time. Namibia, Brazil, Tel Aviv, Tokyo and beyond. Same eye she brings to live action.

Welcome @becker_nomads 🎬🚀

We’re excited to welcome director Pedro Becker to our roster of live-action directors, marking his official entry into the US market. A filmmaker who came up through editing, Pedro captures naturalism on camera and often turns it into surrealism, with music, theater and photography running through his process.

Selected works include campaigns for SportingBet, Pepsi, Apple, Volkswagen, Nike, Coca-Cola, Skol and Nestlé, along with the Vivo film “We Drowned It” shot entirely underwater, which earned him a Ciclope Latino for Best Director. His work has also been awarded at Cannes Lions, LIA, El Ojo and FIAP.

“We’ve been mutual fans for a long time, and the timing of this feels perfect and in line with where he’s heading as a director and where we’re going as a company,” says LOBO Managing Director @luissuckowribeiro
