I get to walk past the beautiful new Soho Theatre Walthamstow practically everyday but I’ll soon be spending more time at the Dean Street @sohotheatre having been picked to be among this year’s Writer’s Lab cohort. Incredibly surprised and grateful to have been chosen from among 1,000 applicants and looking forward to getting the chance to spend 35-40 hours over the next 9 months learning from professionals and developing a script. by @matildabattersby

Wales, could you be any more beautiful? Or any hotter? I brought a woolly hat to sleep in for fuck’s sake. #gowerpeninsula #threecliffs by @matildabattersby

What a brilliant night at @thebritishbookawards #thebritishbookawards2026 #nibbies26
I loved being a judge for the Discover category alongside the fantastic @raksha_digs and @mattcainwriter and watching @marxia1 take her prize 🏆. As well as catching up with the best @_thebookseller pals, seeing some incredibly worthy winners and important and entertaining speeches by @matildabattersby

Noah is complaining I have stolen his style. Can confirm I have only *borrowed* his fleece, hat, trainers, and hoodie. The jeans etc are mine. Looking forward to hand-me-downs as he threatens to become taller and bigger-footed than I am #boymumlife by @matildabattersby
