ONE LAST WEEK

I’m 7 days away from being in the thick of competing in my last ever World Class. It’s a strange place to be as this whole process has been such an anchor point of my career.

When I look back on the rollercoaster it’s been it’s not the serves or presentations that stand out, it’s the people.

I’ve been given some of my nearest and dearest as a result of talking about a drink on stage for 6 minutes. Mental.

Coming into Scotland, would I love to be able to pull it off on home soil? Obviously. Do I think I’ve kind of already won if not? Absolutely.

4 YEARS SINCE THE OG!!

It dawned on us last night that this weekend marks our 4th anniversary of the original site.

4 Years of slinging drinks for the wonderful guests who grace our bar.
4 Years of championing our beautiful city.
4 years of getting to live our dream.

We’re so grateful to anyone who has passed through our doors over this time - we literally wouldn’t be here without you.

We believe we’ve grown almost as the teams facial hair.

WE DID IT

We are over the moon to announce that our beautiful bar has been awarded the status of 2 Pins from @thepinnacleguide

For those unfamiliar, this is similar to the Michelin rating for restaurants and we join a very select few globally with this status.

Birmingham, we love championing you.

A further shoutout to our besties @couchstirchleyb30 who join us being the first ever bars to go from 1 to 2 Pin status.

We’re often told that we eat with our eyes first, so why shouldn’t we drink with them too?

New Shores challenges how cocktails can be plated. As the world of whisky continues to evolve, we are moving beyond the expectation of drinks that are simply stirred down and brown. This serve explores how whisky can be bright, expressive and visual, using presentation to shape the experience before the first sip.

The drink reflects the journey Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is on, reaching the four corners of the world and arriving in new hands for the first time.

It’s inspired by that quiet moment when land first appears on the horizon, and everything feels open and possible.

50ml Johnnie Walker Black Ruby
25ml Turbo fortified Strawberry
1 Dash 20% Saline
(All washed with Strawberry seed oil)
