Sauna M
Sweden
2021

Photography: @leonardofinotti

Positioned between two hills and just a few meters from the water’s edge, the sauna sits on a small, flat area covered with soil and low-lying vegetation. The design prioritizes the preservation of the pristine natural surroundings, with the location chosen to minimize any disruption to the landscape.
The sauna’s light timber construction, featuring black heat-treated pine panels and aspen wood ribs for the interior, complements the raw beauty of the environment.
