To my best friend, my first true love and my Beautiful mother, I love you so much. I can not believe how fast this happened but I am happy I was able to tell you everything I wanted the last couple days and give you all these hugs and kisses. It was so sad seeing you go yesterday. You were the best mother I could’ve ever asked for. You would do anything for our family. We have so many good memories and I know we only had 16 years together but those will always be the best 16 years of my whole life because you were involved so much. You have made me into the person I am today and taught me to love, laugh and respect. Your were the most beautiful, caring, outgoing and loving person and you did not deserve one bit to go through what you went through. Dad Johnny and I will be ok. It’s not going to be easy because you made us smile and picked us up whenever we were down and being able to look at you everyday I would of never knew you were battling any type of disease because you were always worrying about your family first and had a big smile ear to ear everyday no matter how you felt. Mom I am going to love and miss you so much but I will always come visit you no matter when and especially on your birthday, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day. Mom I love you so much and just know I would have traded everything away if it would have changed how you felt and the outcome but I am so happy you’re not in any pain anymore or suffering. Rest in peace my angel. I love you more… like I would always say to you last on the phone, I’m going to miss you.❤️🕊️ by @matthew.schaefer48

It’s been two years since I lost my mom to breast cancer. Not a day goes by that I do not think about her strength and resiliency. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m proud to continue fighting for her and supporting a cause that means so much to me.
