Lake Malawi has some dark skies! 💫 🌌 ⭐️

Had to hire a guy with a boat to get into the national park since it was technically closed after 6 PM 🫪

Malawi is country #140 for me! ❤️‍🔥

The night turned out to be a bit of a challenge, with clouds rolling in shortly after sunset. But with enough patience, I managed to capture these shots 🥹

Peep the second photo for the baobab trees 😅🙏 👀

Darkest skies I’ve ever been in! I’ve never seen the Milky Way look the way it did with my eyes 😱 💫
It was a bit of a hike to get here, but absolutely worth it 🇱🇸🇱🇸🇱🇸

This was a shot that I planned for about a month. The amount of times I checked the weather forecast was unhealthy 😂
I’m glad the weather cooperated

Andromeda Galaxy (M31), one of our closest cosmic neighbors at ~2.5 million light-years away. You’re looking at light that left this massive galaxy 2.5 million years ago. 🌌

Fun fact: It is estimated to contain about 1 trillion stars and spans roughly double the diameter of our own Milky Way. If you’re ever out stargazing with me, I can point it out to you—it’s actually bright enough to see with the naked eye under a dark sky 💫 😱

I used about 26 hours of data (> 1,000 90 second subs) to produce this image. I would’ve done more, but stacking more would’ve caused my computer to crash 😄

Swipe ➡️ to the last photo to see when I first imaged the Andromeda galaxy in July 2025. 😀 A lot can change if you stay diligent

The Orion and Running Man Nebula 🥹🥹 for this winter season 🥶 💫

The Orion Nebula holds the guiness world record as the brightest nebula in the night sky, and can be seen with the naked eye even from light polluted areas such as Los Angeles.

It is the closest massive star-forming region to Earth and is estimated to be about 1,300 light years away 😄

Throwback to 2 months ago when I just received my Lamborghini. This was the very first night I had it. Couldn’t wait to drive it around

And here you go, one of the only (if not the only) Milky Way shots with a Lamborghini Huracan 😌 🐂 🚗

It may even be the first since I can’t find any others online (without AI generation). I saw this interesting foreground on several car pages, and saw an opportunity to combine my passion of exotic cars and astronomy into one photo.

And yes… I checked the E-brake about five times before walking away because I was not about to watch this thing roll into the water. 😅😅

A blue mystic mood 💙💙

Crazy how I used to get anxious coming here because of all the eerie 👻 stories that people would tell. But now Pyramid Lake to me is a getaway from the chaos of life. No phone service, amazing landscapes, and a million stars ✨ 💫 🌌 🪨 🪐

The Milky Way Galactic Core setting over a buffalo carcass 💀 🦬 🐃 in the Masai Mara Park of Kenya 🇰🇪

You ever take a picture and have it remind you of a movie scene from your childhood ? This reminds me of the scene from Lion King where Simba ran out in the field, met Rafiki, and saw Mufasa in the sky. So nostalgic. Not sure if naming photographs is a thing, but I’ll call this “Reflections” as that was the name of the song that played in the movie ♥️ 🦁

The partial lunar eclipse last night! 🩸 🌙
Caught the moon slipping into the Earth’s shadow 🤯

This was taken at 9:19 PM PDT, about 7 minutes after the maximum eclipse coverage

This is a composite astrophotograph where I used last night’s partial lunar eclipse and stars from a previous photo for the background

To capture this celestial event, I used a William RedCat Optics 61 telescope, a ZWO 2600 MC Pro camera, and a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer GTi mount 🔭 ⚙️ 📷 💫

Caught the Milky Way descending over Mount Kilimanjaro 🤩🏔️ — the highest mountain in Africa.
