Why we were able to gather the table.

@mattnahan (Matt) said it plainly:
“Show up. Don’t talk about it. Be about it.”

That line stayed with us because it reflects exactly what his support looked like.

Matt and @orsacreditunion didn’t just lend their name to the event; they showed up to fill a gap so the Michigan Workforce Table Event wouldn’t be canceled at the last minute.

Orsa shows real support, authentic presence, and a genuine investment in the community and women.✨

SPONSOR THANK YOU: ORSA CREDIT UNION! One of my favorite things about this work is watching a connection turn into a relationship, and then watching that relationship turn into ACTION.

Those dollars become emergency housing, transportation, therapy, legal assistance, groceries, clothing, safety and stability, and that is what community partnership can do.

2025 Strategic Funder of the Year

When I was hired by Community Financial Credit Union to start the Relentless Care Foundation, I immediately saw the potential for a foundation and financial institution to make truly transformational change...together.

This past Friday, @dextersullivan and @blac_coalition honored our foundation with the 2025 Strategic Funder of The Year, Legacy Builder Award.

This award is an enormous honor for our Relentless Care Foundation, but it is more than that. It's an acknowledgment of the commitment RCF and @communityfinancial have to making coordinated impact. Together, we are wrapping around partners and issue areas where we can change the world here in Michigan.
