During prep for The One Note Man I went through several ideas of how the film should look. It was only when director George Siougas @gsiougas sent me the recording of Stephen Warbeck’s score that suddenly everything became clear. As I listened imagery from Powell and Pressburger’s The Red Shoes filled my mind, the rich reds the cool blues and the orchestra pit lit using the lamps attached to the music stands. The film is a masterclass in technicolour cinema shot by Jack Cardiff.

We were incredibly lucky to work with legendary colourist Tim Stipan @tim_stipan who really nailed the concept and production designer Sophia Simensky @sophiasimensky who provided us with the perfect colour palette. by @mattnorthdop
