Huge congratulations to Hannah Walters and Ruth Carney on their nominations for Amazing Grace. Best Feature Film and Best Female Actor at @bhamfilmfest 🤍 @ruthcarneydirector @waltersgraham

The film is also in competition for the festivals top prize, the bull award.

And a huge congratulations to the brilliant cast and crew who gave so much to bringing the film to life. Independent feature filmmaking takes a huge amount of work, commitment and trust across every department, and it’s lovely to see that work travelling and finding its audience.

This was my first feature film credit as a producer, so it’s great to see the film being recognised in this capacity.

Congratulations to everyone involved. ✨

And with the conclusion of the 2-day Monday/Tuesday event with the Actors Studio at Pinewood, my October ‘24 to February ’25 round of actors’ workshops comes to an end, (as I prepare to throw myself into a new drama series for the BBC). It’s been a wonderful and fulfilling five months of reconnecting to the world of training actors, made all the more special by the opportunity to spend time with my beloved Jay (❤️), combining her body-psychotherapy skills with my directing craft to offer something rather unique to this arena. Other workshops that I’ve conducted solo have enjoyed a slightly different focus, (as with the above pictures), but all have had two things in common; the extraordinary levels of talent, courage and commitment shown by the participants, and the sheer fun that we’ve experienced alongside the hard work of improving one’s craft. I’m taking this opportunity to thank everyone at all the companies who’ve made these workshops possible, and all the actors who’ve contributed so magnificently over the last few months. Until we meet again, Jay and I wish you good fortune upon your creative journeys.
❤️🎭
