Who would’ve thought.

All those years ago, I walked into a gym overweight, with no idea where that decision would eventually take me.

Now I’m standing here, weeks away from stepping on a bodybuilding stage, in the best shape of my life.

It’s easy to look at these photos and see the end result, but all I see are the years behind them. The early mornings. The late nights. The sessions when I felt unstoppable and the sessions when I didn’t want to be there at all. Just stacking one day on top of another, over and over again.

Feeling incredibly nostalgic and grateful looking at these.

Grateful that I started.
Grateful that I kept going.
Grateful that I get the opportunity to push myself to this level and compete in a sport I’ve completely fallen in love with.

I never could’ve imagined this version of myself when I first began.

Sometimes one decision really can change the entire direction of your life.

Mine was simply deciding to walk into the gym and begin.

And I’m so fucking glad I did. 🖤

Spontaneous flights, zero regrets ✈️

Quick trip over to WA. Sunshine, salt air, Rottnest Island and quokkas 🐾

Managed to squeeze it all in:
• Gym sessions
• Gym & Hot Pilates with my cousin @emilyswain__ (humbled 😅)
• Family dinner
• Yochi
• Time with family

Jet set back in time for Ollie’s cricket presentation 🏏

Food I’m eating on repeat currently 🤤

Green recovery & sleep score still holding strong ✅

My youngest 2 rocking my shoes like they own them 👞

And finishing it where it always matters most, with my beautiful wife. The woman who keeps our world turning and holds it all together for our three boys while I disappear on a last-minute trip. Forever grateful ❤️

Full life. Full heart.

Thank you for asking me to be your coach (and boyfriend), for trusting me, and giving me the opportunity to follow my passion!! I have learnt a shit tonne and for that bro I am so grateful. I feel beyond privilidge brother, you’re an amazing athlete and an even better bloke.

— 1 DAY OUT FROM FMG WORLDS — 🌎🏆

18 months ago, this was nothing more than a dream. A dream that at times felt so far out of reach I wondered whether I’d ever get there.

What you see in this video is a minute of highlights. What you don’t see is everything it took to get there.

The early mornings. The sleepless nights. The sacrifices. The self-doubt. The tears. The days where I had absolutely nothing left to give but somehow found a way to give more.

And then suddenly we had made it!

Standing on a stage in New Zealand, living a moment I’d dreamed about for so long. A third-place finish in my debut show. 🥉

But looking back, the placing almost feels secondary to what that moment meant to me. Because somewhere along this journey, I became someone I’m genuinely proud of. Not because of how I look or where I placed, but because I kept a promise to myself. To see something through. To find out what I was truly capable of and how far I could push myself both mentally and physically.

And none of this would mean nearly as much without the people who have walked beside me. My beautiful wife, my boys, my coaches, family and friends. You’ve carried pieces of this dream with me, and I’ll never be able to thank you enough 🫶🏽💙

Tomorrow, I step onto the FMG Worlds stage on the Gold Coast and I genuinely get emotional even typing those words.

Because I know what it took to get here. I know how much of myself I’ve poured into this. I know the person I was when this journey began, and the person standing here today.

Whatever happens tomorrow, nobody can take this journey away from me. One more time under those lights. One more opportunity to give absolutely everything I have.

To the version of me who once wondered whether he was capable of any of this, mate!! look how far we’ve come. 🥹

With a full heart, a grateful mind and a fire inside me that’s never burned brighter.

- PEAK WEEK - 😍

Back here again

Empty, Flat, Hungry and so so tired.

The last month between shows hasn’t been pretty. There’s been no victory lap after NZ. No time to get comfortable. Just straight back into the trenches, digging and back to fucking work.

Every day has been about finding a little more when there really isn’t much left to give.

The body is tired and fatigued, food is low and sessions hurt.

But this is the part I’ll remember.

Because anyone can be motivated when they feel good. This part is about keeping the promise to yourself when you feel like absolute shit. I’ll stare that man back in the mirror and remind him that we absolutely did it!

NZ gave me a taste🥉
But it also lit a fucking fire in me! 🔥

Now I get to empty the tank

One final peak.
One final push.
One more chance to stand under those lights and show exactly what this last month has cost
