I have the best job in the world 🙌🏻

Grateful to be trusted with the health of so many great and dangerous people. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of Matt Serra and Ray Longo both as a martial artist and as a PT.

The loyalty, friendship, and opportunities they’ve given me mean more than they’ll ever know. Being able to take care of the people/team who have helped to shape me is something I’ll never take for granted.

Forever grateful. All glory be to God.

Before Matt Serra became a UFC World Champion… there were nights like this. 🥊

RARE, NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN FOOTAGE.

Pulled straight from the original Super VHS tapes, this is a young Matt Serra fighting at the legendary Vanderbilt in Long Island.

No HD cameras.
No social media.
Just old-school MMA, raw talent, and fighters looking to make a name for themselves.

This is the kind of footage that rarely sees the light of day — and a piece of MMA history worth preserving.

Who remembers the fight nights at the Vanderbilt? 👇

🥋 FROM UFC 46 TO GEEKING OUT WITH MATT SERRA

Former UFC opponents and longtime friends Matt Serra and Jeff “Big Frog” Curran recently reunited, this time not inside the Octagon, but behind the microphones on Geeking Out with Matt Serra.

Serra and Curran fought at UFC 46 more than two decades ago, and both represent an old-school generation of fighters who helped shape the early years of modern MMA.

With Serra representing the Renzo Gracie lineage and Curran representing Pedro Sauer, the two share decades of history in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts.

Their conversation goes well beyond their fight.

Serra and Curran look back on their careers, trade stories and plenty of laughs about life as retired professional fighters, and discuss how Curran’s history in the sport connects to what he is building today, including Big Frog Nation, the Martial Life documentary series, and the continued growth of the Jeff Curran Invitational.

The timing couldn’t be better, as Jeff Curran Invitational 4: A Night of Champions goes LIVE THIS SATURDAY at 6:00 PM Central, streaming FREE worldwide on YouTube.

There’s something special about watching two men who once stood across the Octagon from one another sit down more than 20 years later, reminiscing about the old days, busting each other’s chops, sharing some laughs, and talking about where the martial arts life has taken them.

🎙️ Watch Geeking Out with Matt Serra for a great conversation between two old-school fighters, then tune in this Saturday for JCI 4: A Night of Champions.

📅 Saturday, September 19
⏰ LIVE at 6 PM Central
🌎 FREE worldwide on the Big Frog YouTube Channel

Before the big arenas, the cameras and the million-dollar fights… there were rooms like this.

Hard sparring. Unfamiliar opponents. And a canvas that still had the blood from the rounds before you.

Ray Longo brought fighters to Lou Neglia’s Brooklyn school for a reason:

𝗧𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. 🥊

Those sessions were legendary — and for the fighters who survived them, they became better because of it.
