The feeling of competing on the highest level is just something U can only experience bcuz explaining it never hits. Meeting the highs of Din Thomas @mattserrabjj ń @danawhite competing on his show was in a nutshell the peek of my mixed martial arts career! Sharing the cage with a guy like @kris_is_soulless on that level of a platform after fighting the majority of my career on @ufcfightpass is something I can now look back on ń know where I been moving forward in BKfC. Chasing the 1%.. was the best life decision I ever made. Throwback to the fukin ride I had in mma💨 𝑽𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒔…

THE GENTLE ART PODCAST WITH GENE DUNN

In this clip from my conversation with Professor Joe Capizzi, we reflect on training with Craig Kukuk at Chow’s Kung Fu and my first interaction with John Danaher.

We also talk about Renzo’s arrival and how it became one of the defining moments in Joe’s martial arts journey.

Joe, thank you for sharing your stories, your experience, and your perspective. Your contribution to the jiu-jitsu community over the years has been tremendous, and it was truly an honor to have you on the podcast. 🙏🏼

At UFC 69, the combat sports world said Matt Serra didn't have a prayer. The media. The odds makers. The MMA World.

Entering as a massive +850 underdog against a generational phenom in Georges St-Pierre, the entire combat sports world expected a quick, routine night at the office for the champion.

Serra had other plans.

With one explosive right hand and unmatched composure, he shocked the world, swarmed the champ, and secured one of the most stunning TKO upsets in MMA history.

Never let anyone write your script for you. When you step into the arena, the odds don't matter.

Long live the underdog. Legends never die!
