I did quite a lot of reading on holiday. (Not pictured, at least 300+ issues of various X-men comics).

4 wonderful Muriel Spark novels.

1 terrific biography of La Spark by @drjamesbailey (a wonderful birthday gift from @glamorous_matt )

1 masterpiece adapted into another masterpiece of desperation actressing, THE HOURS!

Also, not pictured, 1 early Hermann Hesse novel, GERTRUDE.

(I also started reading Thomas Mann’s The Magic Mountain but it’s 700 pages long and I only made a small dent in It). taken in Broadway Market by @mattymologist

Yesterday was a beautiful memorial service for @yaesohn.
I’m very happy to have gotten to keep one of his glazed pots as a keepsake. I’m still having trouble believing it’s all real and I’m going to miss him so much. taken in Broadway Market, London by @mattymologist
