I am sober six whole years today. And it turns out Ripley, Hugh’s gorgeous pup who I basically single white femaled my way into helping parent is also 6. I have a silly notion that despite not meeting him til later, I got clean as he arrived so I’d be ready to love him this much.

So we had a lil picnic on the Downs. Thanks to everyone who turned up with so little notice and who were their lovely selves x x x i know I find life tough but I am always grateful to be sober. Always grateful for the fuzzbucket and to @hrsssssm for inviting me to be part of their lil housefam. ❤️

Today I turn 33. Today it's also the premiere of "The Motive", my debut short film as a writer-director.

This is something I've dreamed of since I was a child. In many ways it's the end of a journey, but also the beginning of a much bigger one.

Feeling very grateful today 🕵🏻‍♂️🔪❤️
