Me: Well…mainly looking moody in photos and…
1. Went to Wetherspoons and they had a Quiet Steps poster up?!
2. Booked a tour for Remember Sport which starts today!
3. Booked a nice little tour for my fav bands Braid and Hey Mercedes
4. Gradient maps are now my personality and my design get out of jail free card and a shameless selfie op
5. Me and @jamesotter made a big gig
6. Put on / watched the best rock band (sent this vid to my mum said they sounded terrible) PNEU
7. We booked a load of shows, used a gradient map
8 & 9. Swanned around with YA for a few dates with some band called the hives
10. Really really hated virtual cricket. The business folded shortly after because of my terrible trip advisor review

Life updated that you didn’t ask for: 2025 has been a blast so far. Had a really nice time hanging out around the United Kingdom and seeing the sights. Lovely time on the tour I booked for Kal Marks and Thank, that was great. Me and @jamesotter had a lovely time on TM and Merch duties. Booked loads of gigs, got loads of other gigs coming up, and announced a tour me and @connorlaws booked for RP / CC. Went to a winery in Derby (wtf) and put some clothes on that weren’t all black, hungout with @harold_smith94 cutting some wood up, loads of new pals loads of old pals. A year of no drama apart from that bloke who shouted at me for not queuing at a bar, and then called me a saddo.

The highlight though was probably selling out and getting a light box.

Really really fucking proud of what I’ve done with pals this year.

Also playing some rock music with @adamwfindlay at Project House tomorrow.

FILE UNDER: DOING MERCH FOR YARD ACT UK / EURO 2024 WITH THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.

Hi, Here are some photos of what was one of the best experiences of my life. Working away for such a long period of time can be taxing, but less so when the people you’re in a little (huge) tin can of a bus are all excellent people. Saw some amazing places, woke up to EE telling me what country I was in and that it was gonna cost me £2.49 every day, met loads of new friends, ate some amazing food, wheel nearly fell off the bus, watched a snowman not get set on fire in Zurich, and had a literal penthouse for a dressing room, and fell in love with Lisbon. Huge shout out to @gustaf_nyc and @murkagedave and 📸 @anthonyharrison1986 and @yardactband for being the best. Was great.

Landed back in Leeds and had @adamwfindlay and @franllewelyn amazing wedding, then pal 📸 @samhopkinsphoto appeared and took this photo of me having a nice time in Headingley, Leeds, UK. Next is festivals with @iaindicklane - what could go wrong (everything).

P.s Sergio, you still owe me £50 by @mattyotter

HI - here are some photos of mine and my m8 @thejourneythatmatters trip to Paris. We don’t get to hangout as much as I would like (more now she doesn’t live in the middle of no where) but this was great. Not been to Paris since I was a kid or whilst on tour. Ate loads of desserts, drank some very nice wine, looked at some art. So many places I wanted to see but ran out of time.

Bother: La Buvette / Paul Bert / Yard / Miznon / Pompidou / any where that sells rose for 2€

Don’t Bother: Holybelly (very average)

My takeaway - lovely people, very clean for a major city (metro bit pissy sometimes), incredible food, fuck the tourist traps / scams, can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be, incredible public transport. Would like to move there at some point.

Today @dirtyotterleeds and @brudpresents announced American Football, which is ace.

Here is a flyer-dump of the rest of the stuff we have coming up. Few more announcements to come also. This year went from 0-1024748 v fast, which is ace.

This year has been fucking excellent. I set a goal to challenge myself. I think I got the balance right. I’ve learnt in the past if you set unattainable goals and push too much it works the opposite. So here is a round up. Put on 10 gigs (1 sellout), booked 5 for 2023 (2 sellouts), cooked on two tours, cooked in a skate park for Vans, a stately home, a prison (if anyone ever asks you to cook in a prison say NO), Manchester Psych Fest, and a few carparks around the north of England…Got my first experience of baking in a work setting (shout out to @bobbin_bagels ). Also ate at Venus Food, Thai Aroy Dee, and Tharavadu too much (also made the time to hangout with the absolute best people…and ate ‘the best roast in the UK’ and was pretty disappointed.)

Other notable stuff:

- Best friend beat cancer
- Went on holiday for first time in too long with said best friend (then went to Primmy and ruined any chill vibe)
- Went to Arctangent to sell merch with @bsmrocks

Who would’ve thought it is possible to love work and not dread it. Nice people over tossers.

Big shout out to @jamesotter and @nath_brudenell for gig world

[SOLD OUT]

Hi, I know lockdown / not being able to put gigs on, was ages ago, but it’s been really rewarding to get my head back in the game with gigs since then. Getting a focus back has been amazing etc.

Last time we announced LD, it got cancelled due to covid, so no more pandemics plz. Also @jamesotter is back at it! We will be working the room and making light conversation. This is free.

Hi it’s Xmas and here is a photo of me having a nice time ☻

That said, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been in my life at the moment...kinda crazy with all that’s going on. Proud of myself for achieving a lot of the goals I have set. Keep strong, do some meditation, talk to people, drink water, and sleep. Why did no one tell me the importance of these things sooner (they did). Take the positives where you can. Learn shit cus it makes it easier next time.
